    Travelling squad?
    from the MEN.
    United squad vs Newcastle:

    Goalkeepers: De Gea, Romero, Grant.

Defenders: Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire, Tuanzebe, Rojo, Young, Williams.

Midfielders: McTominay, Matic, Fred, Mata, Gomes.

Forwards: Pereira, Chong, Greenwood, Rashford, James

We'll outplay them for 17 minutes, they'll score their one chance from a defensive error, we'll pass the ball around aimlessly for 73 minutes without really threatening.

    Final score 1-0.

    I thought Rashford was injured?

    No,you wished Rashford was injured.;)

No, I just thought he came out injured during our last game. I see what you’re saying, but I still think Rashford should play, but as a RW. Let Greenwood be the ST, as Rashford has shown he lacks the skills and quality to be one.

    The state of that squad...

Interesting you say you'd want him on the right.
To me he's never shown the capabilities to play on that side.

    No,you wished Rashford was injured.;)

As bad as he's been I fear we'd be even worse without him. There is literally nothing else in the club. Mason is a class prospect but it's still too soon for resting hopes on him.

I agree. I think Greenwood should've been kept out of the limelight for atleast another season.
There's a huge difference in bringing in a young player into a already established, experienced side and one where you're simply throwing them in. Ole's throwing Greenwood in and he's getting away with it purely down to the clubs history in promoting youth.
Ole is already putting a stupid amount of pressure on Greenwood's shoulders. The kid doesn't need it at this time of development.

Like every match I'm going to close my eyes and breathe deep five minutes before kickoff to reset my headspace. Every match is a new opportunity to turn things around. Here's to that.

There are no viable alternatives to Matic, Mata or Rashford.

This is currently our best team, sadly.

Rashford Ok, but as RW, but just because “my Rashy must play”.
Matic and Mata their legs are gone, I don’t see the point of starting them, specially when they have just played on Thursday.

A few scotch’s on the rocks might be more effective.

The pressure on Ole will increase significantly if we don't win this today. Newcastle are a dire outfit. Nothing more than a 3 or 4 nil will do. I have therefore predicted a scrappy 1-1...

Aw hi, we are muck. It's time to admit it, that squad is shite.

Interesting you say you'd want him on the right.
To me he's never shown the capabilities to play on that side.

He hasn’t shown much capability as Striker either, and lacks basic skills to play there (hold up play, heading, making runs to anticipate crosses, attacking space, intelligent passes, etc). So he does less damage to our attack if he plays on the right.

    AWB, Pogba, Martial. All out.

Those 3 are arguably our most important players in their respective positions and ability. Our injury problems are ROUGH.

On that note, Manchester United are taking steps to address the situation as they are interviewing new heads of physical therapy for the first team.

    If Mata starts I'll laugh.
The guy couldn't deal with the pace of a testimonial game.

West Ham and Leicester lost yesterday. See? Today is the kind of match that should be won. It must be won,12 points to start fixing the September travesty.

If we lose today I'd sack Ole on the spot. Proof that we are a midtable team completely hopeless in away matches.

That squad with Ole at the wheel... :nervous:

There are no viable alternatives to Matic, Mata or Rashford.

    There are viable alternatives.
Firstly, any player is better than Matic, absolutely anyone.

    Secondly, Mata: Gomes is better.

Lastly, Rashford: Greenwood is a better center forward and should be ahead in the pecking order (however, Rashford may play as a winger - he is a bad Centre forward, but not a bad attacker per se)

    De Gea
    Young Lindelöf Maguire Tuanzebe
    McTominay Matic
    Pereira Mata James
    Rashford
We all know that 4-2-3-1 is never going to change.

Comfortable 2-0 victory for Newcastle. Hopefully Solksjaer's gone after the match.

It's just another game of mediocre players on both sides, if we get a Draw it's a positive, sad to say but an away win is just a plus now, in context of how and where UTD are in this period of so called transition.

Just do not lose really that's all this side seems to do away from home.

They’ll never sack him before Liverpool. If he will get the sack, they’ll let him take the fall against Liverpool and hire a new manager after.

Driving us off the cliff. Ole "As Ferguson used to say a point away to Newcastle is a good result aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!"
I feel your pain. Hopefully we haven't got much longer to put up with this. Today might be the day. One can hope!

If both sides are mediocre then Man Utd should win this, that's my point.

Martial’s injury is just a mystery and so is Pogba’s.

Neville has just made the most shite argument in support of OGS on Sky
