Carrick/McTominay for Lingard and push Pogba further up.
Dropping Lingard?? Why what has he done to deserve being dropped??
Carrick/McTominay for Lingard and push Pogba further up.
We already played 4-3-3 with similar players, and nicked an away win at Burnley. Lingard would do a midfielder runner on the right center, allowing Pogba on the left.Yeah, seriously. Both Herrera and Fellaini are injured. All our best players fit into 4231. Yet just to accomodate Pogba, everyone wants to play 433.
Think we will struggle again, but hopefully nick a win.
I'd really like to us to start Shaw, Young isn't a left back.
Not sure young deserves a start after the last game. Would of gone with shaw certainly.
Would like to of seen 3 in the middle with lingard missing out too.
I have a friend who supports Newcastle, says their game plan is usually coming out firing on all cylinders, hopefully snatching a goal and then tiring by about 25 minutes.
Struggle against Newcastle??
Oh come on now!
Let's hope this time they don't nick a goal and we get straight at them from the get-go.Which is what they did in the reverse fixture, after 25 minutes they were knackered and we were all over them.
You are getting slightly tediousDropping Lingard?? Why what has he done to deserve being dropped??
Someone like McTominay or even Blind to assist Matic in the middle and allow Pogba to freely roam in front of them. What team would you have played with the available options??
Why the laughing emoticon??
He's literally had one poor game this season and that was against Spurs who dominated the midfield and loaded up on him and he had Alexis ahead of him who he's never played with so had little positional synergy.
5 attackers again. Clearly hasn't learned a thing from Spurs dicking us.
Midfield is kinda important.
Newcastle are one of the worst teams in the league, if Pogba/Matic can't overcome a midfield of Shelvey/Diame then we should sell them both on the spot.5 attackers again. Clearly hasn't learned a thing from Spurs dicking us.

Fecking olympics on fox. Better not delay the match airing.
Both managers like a defensive style .So 1-1For some reason I'm not that excited for this game
Not sure why...
Struggle against Newcastle??

Shaw>Young. Don’t know why Mou is rotating at left back.
Its Newcastle though, not Spurs. We could probably field a team of 11 attackers and still be fine.
We could be playing Exeter and one person doing all the work in midfield wouldn't work.Newcastle are one of the worst teams in the league, if Pogba/Matic can't overcome a midfield of Shelvey/Diame then we should sell them both on the spot.
Mourinho has never won at St. James’ Park in the league I think.
Jones and Smalling again, jesus.
Shows how little he regards £30m Lindelof
Yes. Misspoke. Feck Fox anyway.Premier League is usually on NBC in the US is it not?
And that record will not carry on forever, so why worry about it?
Shaw in, Young out. Maybe even Herrera in for Lingard to make a midfield three and more stability. Other than that, happy enough.
Spurs slightly better than Newcastle. This is how we should line up vs lesser teams.5 attackers again. Clearly hasn't learned a thing from Spurs dicking us.
Midfield is kinda important.
Should be okay. Just realized kickoff is 9:15. Got my heart rate up for no reason.Yes. Misspoke. Feck Fox anyway.
