    Tbf, Matic was played at cb instead of cm and he has had some decent performances this season (not great by any means but not awful). Mata and AWB have been awful all season and Jesse just doesn't look like he cares anymore
     
    Going to be honest I’m not really happy with how we’ve treated this game. It’s the champions league ffs. Who cares about the kids. Let them get a game in the carling cup which we have already been knocked out of.
     
    I’d typically get frustrated with a performance like this but the fact that Barca will be playing in the Europa league more than compensates for this sterile performance

    The result doesn’t matter. To me it’s a shame that we needed a dead rubber before we gave them any game time, it’s what United is all about.

    He is trying out the squad to see if there is anyone useful. Completely understandable considering he has taken over midseason.

    As you said, League cup is gone. The FA Cup, we have to take seriously.
