    The first 11 will now get a full training session tomorrow ahead of the next game, if they played this they would have been in recovery tomorrow instead.
     
    Imagine standing on the sidelines for over 6 minutes waiting for your first team debut, and you can't get on because your youth team mates are playing shite* but just well enough not for the ball to go out of play.

    *Yes, yes, they're not really shite but try telling that to the subs.

    We played the game like a dead rubber, the weird thing is so have young boys despite having a chance to go through to the EL. Cowardly from Wagner.

    I mean people already forget his disasterclass against Villarreal just this season, you can’t expect people to remember how he played for another team last year.

    I'm not stood on the touchline though am I? How does this explain what qualifies Darren Fletcher Technical Director to be stood on the touchline. Being less than 100% sure he knows more about football than me doesn't really cut it does it?

    Just shows tonight why Mata and Matic shouldn’t be here anymore. Not sure what their purpose is in the squad these days. AWB has also been extremely poor. Lingard hasn’t done himself much favours either.

    The fixture list is too congested. We would get inuries. Ralf made the right call to rest them for a nothing game. Obviously the quality of the performance has suffered but better for the overall season.
     
    Think Ralf should get a good idea of what he’s working with now anyway.

    The theory is that the first XI are getting five days intensive training ahead of Norwich to adapt to his style. If they had played tonight they would have only had a light session yesterday, a match today and recovery tomorrow which would give them 3 less sessions to get used to the pattern of play.
