This midfield is a bit like trying to play pool or snooker with a length of rope. It's the right shape but ultimately just doesn't do the job required. Wolves have a much better midfield than we do and we are above them.

Wolves midfield is very strong defensively, keeps its shape extremely well and two smart passers. But they’re not a very creative midfield and aren’t the best at building attacks.

Fred is soo much easier. Yet somehow the tide has turned for him. He's not exceptional, he's just not terrible anymore. Yet people really find it difficult to have a middle ground here. Players can only be great or terrible.

Fred proving once again his limitations.

Very good at doing the basics, and works hard, but he loses the ball in critical areas too often, and his shooting is awful.

He’ll never be a top player.
