Fellaini and Smalling oustanding in their respective positions, Pogba and Fred with their best performances of the season and DDG as assured as ever. The rest have been average.

This Wolves team have at least 1 goal in them today, we need to score another to see this out.

Bit hit and miss that first half. Some good play let down from frustrating poor passing in the final third.

Valencia is utter shit going forward it's so annoying.

    Fantastic save by Patricio.

We're playing very well, apart from Sanchez. Martial should come on. Looks like we are starting to get our midfield mould together. Pogba has been playing very, very well.

Attack is still clearly the problem. No fcuking clue what Mourinho is after defenders for.

Still decent enough performance so far. Some quality on show. Needs to be better again though in the second half.

Goal aside, Wolves are doing a good job executing their game plan against us. They seem to know exactly what their team identity is.

In a bar in bangkok with 3 tv's around me, city Liverpool and United. I've ended up watching more of there games than the United one. There football is unbelievable. Great news we are 1 up but God it has been dreadful. Have we tested the keeper since the goal (except Fred freekick)

I don't think Sanchez has been bad. Been linking up well, few things not coming off but he's doing alright in the build up.

Do we still have the receipt for Sanchez? I think they gave us a faulty model.
Not an overly convincing first half but we looked more in control once we got the goal, just need to work the keeper some more.

Great half from Fred, feels like he’s been everywhere. Does anyone know if he’s usually handy with free kicks or was that one an anomaly?

Wolves are a very fun team to watch, very composed, quick, positive.

Lingard looks lively, the big guy hasn’t really gotten much this half. Sanchez has looked alright here and there going forward, but he’s really leaving Shaw exposed, which we need to be wary of in the second half.

Problem is, for the supposedly super star that's not enough. He's not rising up to the expectation so far. Kind of performance you'll expect from someone like Rashford or Lingard, not a proven top player.

When Pogba is on form, like he is today,he's such a level above our players.
Seeing Pogba continually give Lukaku good creative passes only for the Belgium to mess up must be infuriating.

Lukaku has been poor for the second game in the row. He hasn't had a sniff of the goal yet.

It's as clear as day that Sanchez in the left wing position is not going to work. We would be better served playing him as a 10 behind lukaku.

We haven't been dreadful at all.

Will you suck them off if we win?

Usually don't like to bash players in the match-day thread but thought Valencia was particularly awful. His defending wasn't that great but he was terrible at hitting the pass or cross. Thought Sanchez was fairly good apart from the FK at the end of the half.

Wolves clearly a good team, wouldn't be surprised if they finished top half this year.

Sanchez stealing a living since his arrival. He tries, but lets be honest, he’s completely out of sync with the rest of team.

    Fred MOTM so far

    Pogba another good solid performance

Shaw bossing that left side, in his own usually outnumbered.

We’re winning back possession good as a team too which is good to see.

The midfield is playing excellently. Pogba, Fred and Fellaini all doing great with Fred standing out slighlty more.

Defence are doing fine, Lindelof always a bit of a worry in his 1v1 man-marking but otherwise ok. Full backs are solid, Mike is a rock, De Gea a giant.

The problem is the attack. The link up between Lingard, Lukaku and Sanchez is diabolical. And while one has sympathy for Lukaku playing centrally with with a striker up his butt all the time, I can't extend that to Sanchez and Lingard who are both playing so meh.

We've been good I think, but Wolves are playing very well too. Gonna be a tight second half I reckon.

Still feel like so many offensive situations are ruined by poor touches and passes.

Our midfield has been the best bunch.

The midfield have been great, but the front three have done nothing really.

He scored a fantastic freekick for Shakhtar last season in the CL knockouts.
