Win this and we're still in with an outside chance of being in the race for top 4. Villa are a really good side but you wonder if they can last the whole season and Spurs are still Spurs.
If we can put together a big run, we have an outside chance for 5th maybe. Spurs are way better than us and will qualify for the CL. Our only possible entry point is Villa.

4th is very possible. If you don't think we will get it - fair enough, but it should be the target.

From ETH’s perspective, who would he find easier to drop, Antony or Onana?
Considering Antony was dropped in our last game - I'd say him

With how erratic we've been I have no idea what's going to happen this match after Thursday's performance.

Same team as wolves. Let’s build some consistency in performances and results!

From ETH’s perspective, who would he find easier to drop, Antony or Onana?
Antony because he’s already dropped him a few times this season. Onana starts every single time he’s available despite mistakes or being bad. Plus having Garnacho is keeping Antony out of the team.

Stats favour Man Utd v West Ham unbeaten last 6 prem

    2-2

We'll win because Moyes sets his teams up like a coward when he comes to OT - i have no idea why (this was an especially an issue when he was manager here as we played at OT fairly frequently....)

Yes, obviously within the context of us making "progress"

My point is, I'd take a 1-1 draw in which we create loads of chances, have most of the ball, force lots of turnovers but can't kill them off and concede a scrappy set-piece over a tumescent and fortunate 1-0 in one of these pinball-style, end to end games we have seen at times.

This does make sense. But I'd still take the shit 1-0

I can't see us catching both Spurs and Villa, also lots of strong teams around us like West Ham, Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton who could pass us.
We'd need a run of wins like Ole's first season.

If we win this and against Villa next week, then I'd say Top 4 is possible at least, anything less and 6th is a realistic goal.

If we win next 2 games, we're 5 points off Villa. If Spurs don't win against Brighton next week, then we're 3 or 4 points off them.

Really? They are garbage. No excuses falling behind that shower.

Back in the day when we regularly won trophies I was the same. Could not give a monkeys how we won, just win at all costs.

I feel its a bit different know. I like EtH but I need to see that he can execute his vision for this team. So far, he has failed. There are mitigating circumstances, but with the bulk of the squad now available, it HAS to improve.

I feel that from now until the end of the season will determine ETH’s fate. INEOS won’t sack him before the summer but with the majority of the squad now available he has nowhere to hide; either his vision for the team going forward is evident and the players are clearly behind him or he is outed as the inadequate manager that many think he is and rightly dismissed.

Can we finally build on that result midweek and actually start stringing some wins together? Let’s go out and fecking do these cockney cnuts!!

So, basically, every game this season then.

This is how I feel. Top 4 might be unrealistic but a decent end to season in the league and cup could save him.

It looks like Harry Maguire is set to start today, it'll be his first start since Bayern at home back in December.

We need all 3 points today.
