I know we are all confident and so we should be, looking At how we’re playing but we all know what can happen when our rivals drop points. We can never seem to take advantage of it but hopefully this time it’s different. This is a season where we can easily get top 4 looking at how the seasons going.

Refs and VAR love these volleyball playing pricks so we will be up against it right from the start. We're playing well but 11v13 won't be easy.

Contemplating/expecting Maguire just to walk back into the side? Where have people been the last two months?

Pacqueta, Cornet and Bowen out for this one. We really should be winning this.

Late games seems like an endless wait. I havent been looking forward to United playing in so many years

Would have been only 4 points off 3rd too if Spurs hadn't produced that annoying comeback win
In past years, we have always blown these opportunities (or at least, that's how it has felt). I really hope that this team is developing a stronger mentality under EtH. Winning our next few games could be so pivotal for our season - we have an extremely favourable run until the new year. We might be very close to being involved in a title race for a while, which would be a huge step forward.

Some of the notable fixtures before the World Cup:

    Chelsea vs. Arsenal
    Spurs vs. Liverpool
    Newcastle vs. Chelsea

Our fixtures are West Ham, Aston Villa, and Fulham in the league over this period. Got to be getting 9 points. Let's see how far we have really come.

How are West Ham doing this season... it hasnt been the easiest fixture for us in recent years..

Totally agree and also have the same apprehensions about games like today (and the next two) as we’ve always failed to take these opportunities previously and crank pressure on our rivals

They're going to park the bus, I expect a big game from Bruno to break the lock.

Think having both Casemiro and Mctominay in midfield would provide good protection from crosses/ corners.

More so if Maguire is not starting. I actually think this is one of a few fixtures in a season where id start Maguire for Martinez, and keep Casemiro-Eriksen midfield together

Rashford; Elanga, Fernandes, Antony front 4?

For the match going fans today, we need to be patient, and not boo every time West Ham waste time on goal kicks or throw ins. Or pretending to be injured. They want to kill the atmosphere, and slow the game down, so don’t fall into this trap.

Keep roaring the players on and don’t let them stifle our momentum by these running the clock down tactics.

Watching MUTV and 17/18 match against West Ham. How the team has changed! Jones, Valencia, Danny, Lukaku, Miki - even Arnautovic playing for West ham. Pogba looked amazing - Rashford so pacy.

whenever i watch west ham, rice seems such a key player for them in terms of setting up attacks and their overall tempo, id be tempted to go with fred instead of erikson/bruno for the first half at least and have him sit on rice. would neuter them completely.
Unfortunately, Rice is much cleverer than Fred. It could be effective but could Bruno not be tasked with cramping Rice’s space?

We should be beating these, they’ve got injuries to key players so you’d think it’d be quite a comfy 3-0 but no doubt we will make a meal of it.

Could be a frustrating day with that forward line. Three attackers that barely look for teammates or bringing others into play.

Eth knows what Antony was all about at Ajax. If he’s dropped, I don’t think it will be anything related to that tiny bit of showboating which is a massive storm in a teacup.

tend to believe he’s dropped for an injury
    Hope it's NOT for showboating.
May he continue giving us his skills and being more productive afterwards.

Very important that we win this to maintain momentum and get close to the top. If we don't, it will be a major setback. Hard to believe we can be only 6 points to the top given the way we started.
