Technically, it is, but Moss intended to give it to WH as an 'uncontested' one (which isn't really a thing in the laws of the game). The kicker here, though, was that West Ham would've just left the ball indefinitely to waste time so it was technically fair game.

Yeah, the result was disappointing - opportunity for a good cup run but also to keep the squad playing and fit while giving a few youngsters a chance, the overall performance wasn't fantastic but it wasn't exactly a shambles either.
This wasn't on Ole, this was on poor decision-making around the 18 yard box - Lingard shooting at every opportunity rather than seeing the pass, is one example repeated 4 or 5 times.
My second point stands - more than an opportunity for a trophy, this was a good cup to keep the entire squad fit and engaged - how else is Martial and the rest - that people on here are crying about - going to get match fit and in form etc?

I don't like this writing off of Martial. He is clearly short of confidence but there really is nothing else wrong. He can come good... I know we have crazy options in attack now and he has to be down the list for the moment but really don't want to see him leave and inevitably do really well elsewhere.
