good to see key players rested, the squad must be used in these cup ties.
Even though WH is rotating heavily, they still have very experienced players in their lineup like Dawson, Diop, Noble, Lanzini, & Yarmalenko, so this will be a strong test for our 2nd string team, hopefully players like VdB, Sancho, Lingard & Martial show Ole they can fight for starting spot in PL games.
He could get a hat-trick containing a header, a bicycle kick and a scorpion kick. Won't change the fact that we're wasting our time on him.

Sorry couldn’t resist quoting the bardI echo the sentiments of many, nothing against Mata, but it just doesn't seem very progressive or forward thinking to still be wheeling him out instead of giving a wee nipper a go.
Matic is our only pure DM and is useful in many games. Lingard has his uses too even though I personally would've sold in the summer. Bailly can't stay fit for two minutes and is also a waste of time.
Mata is pointless though. Not first choice nor second choice in any position.
