My only problem with the lineup is Mata.

Just think it's pointless to still be playing him.

Other than that I would have put one more good player on the bench in case of emergency.

Would be shit to go out cause we don't have a strong enough bench

Got the starting 11 correct. (I might do the lottery tonight) 11 changes from the last game so very much a 2nd string starting team.

David Moyes has made 10 changes, Jarrod Bowen the only survivor from the weekend.

Unfortunately that's the problem with the 'bloat' in our squad and unable to shift players on high wages. Plus Amad is injured so that is why he's not there.

Who from the starting XI shouldn't be at the club anymore?

10/11 with Mata the only surprise.

To be honest I wasn't sure Ole had the balls to go for a lineup like this but this is definitely a sign that he's aiming a lot higher this season which is good.

Perfect line-up. Would have been nice to give Mata's spot to a youngstee but the main thing is that all the key players are rested (or are on the bench).

Wasting a start on Mata instead of giving Elangava start is a shame but the rest is as hoped.

Going to be a real test of our squad depth. West Ham with pretty much the whole rotated XI as well, so we should expect a win.

In reality, during the last season we really struggled in games like this one. Usually playing dire football and often needing Bruno+Rashy combo from the bench to help us win. Here's hoping we've improved since then.

Looking forward to this. Hope some of these players have a great game and give Ole something to think about going forward.

7/11 I was happy with that, those that got 11/11 , you need to put the lottery on, how did you do it ?

I thought it was quite obvious:nervous:

Only one I was iffy about was Henderson/Heaton, then I read MEN claiming he would start/ was in the squad.

Isn't that exactly what you predicted? I have to say I was not expecting Mata to start. I would've preferred Elanga over him with Lingard as #10.
Yeah it was, hence me being able to tweet it out so soon after the official account posted the line-up. Didn't need to make any changes :D

My only reservation is the slowness of it with Mata and Matic so we could see Elanga in somewhere but I don't think it'll be far off*

*says the person who has been awful in the lineup prediction game this season.
     .

Broke the bad predictions duck! Bloody spot on, well done sir.

Hope it's a decent game, usually when we make wholesale changes its not great to watch for obvious reasons!

Unless they're coming back from injury and need a run out then I wouldn't want any first choice players, even if that means playing someone badly out of position. Mata can play left back for all I care.
Happy days. Though I'm guessing it's probably Telles in defence.

There have been quite a few times in recent years when we looked horrible when we've rotated the team.
Would be so good if we turned up and bucked that trend.

With all the complaining about Mata, chances are he's the one getting the goal/assist.

I can see Jones getting on if we are losing, given Ole's usual substitutional tactics.
