I like it. Hope Sancho, VdB and Martial perform to their best. The others we more or less know they are squad player level, these we hope can seriously challenge the team or be key players.

The number of young players in the squad is a disappointment.

I like the team, I like the fact that Ole has made a lot of changes, even if that means the football may look more disjointed than usual. The team out there is still capable of winning. Come on!

West Ham make loads of changes too and look like it’s 5 at the back

I hope Mata can still go. Would be much more comfortable with Bruno there.

Lingard, Mata, Sancho, Martial and VDB are all players who supposedly thrive on quick one touch football so will be interesting to see how they link up.

Looks like a very negative and unambitious team as per usual from Moyes away at a big team.

I can see Sancho, Mata and van de Beek linking up very nicely with each other. Just hope those three + Lingard aren't stood on each others toes.

Hoping that Dalot does enough to give a good option for an attacking RB against teams who sit back; AWB needs some rest!!

No excuses for anyone not to perform at OT against this B team West Ham.

Happy with the line-up except for Mata (though expected given we renewed his contract), but why did we not send Elanga on loan when we have so many players ahead of him?

Unfortunately that's the problem with the 'bloat' in our squad and unable to shift players on high wages. Plus Amad is injured so that is why he's not there.

Plus the whole they played a full game yesterday thing

Was hoping a few young players would get the start and then players like Mata/Martial/Lingard would come on for them if needed. Martial needs to show something in this game though. Has to be one of his last chances.

Fully expecting dire football. Also Lindelof and Bailly with Matic in front means danger. But that's what our backup team looks like.

I feel like Ole likes to have a large squad it seems. I mean he was clearly the one behind the decision to keep Lingard this summer.
United would be rightly crucified if they had a few injuries and were suddenly forced to over-promote Elanga, Shoretire, Hannibal etc.

Much prefer Elanga getting some game time. But otherwise, that's a good team. Everyone gets some much needed gametime.
