Can’t really blame teams for sitting back when it’s so consistently successful against us. Need one our midfielders to start running behind the defence instead of all showing for the ball.

Outside of a period of 5 minutes or so in which we pressed, we have been ridiculously slow and lacks any urgency in our build up.
Moyes is as expected playing a super defensive tactical game and is just playing for a draw so we'll still have our chance to win this in second half.
But we're honestly just a boring team to watch regardless from the results.

Yes, we'll lose the ball more often than not but keep firing them into Bruno's feet at the edge of the box and he'll eventually get something through in terms of a shot or flick.Why play James againt siting back defence? He doesn't get the ball. He doesn't do takeons he offers nothing in offensive sense. Fred wastes every ball as soon as he needs to pass more than 10m distance. Why play Fred and McT in this game where you need some better and quicker pasing in the middle?I want to see my boy Diallo Diallo in the second half
Sadly he's not the only one. Games like this, where we have a lot of the ball, show how bad most of our players are. You'd think the ball was on fire the way some of them play. Apart from when they need to take initiative. Then they play like they're running through treacle and resort to the easiest, least ambitious option.
PS) Our midfield without Pogba is midtable, which explains a lot about where we were before Bruno.This is so slow and boring.
Because he is good defensivly and can be good attacking the right side. WestHam isn’t a threat at all from this side today. It is about tactics.

For the avoidance of doubt I’ve never criticised Henderson, our debate was around your initial comments on DDG and I also took exception to be labelled a liar.Watching Dan James and AWB on the right against well organised defensive teams just makes your eyes bleed. We don’t have many other options but still...I can see West Ham nicking a goal from a set piece and winning this.I would say a bright 20 minutes bookended by some ineffectual stuff against a smothering blanket of an opposition. There are many things we can improve on when in possession but hopefully it only takes a moment of inspiration early in the second half to get us in front and have them come out to play a bit more. It's a cliche by this point but the longer we go without scoring the harder it'll be, and if we happen to go behind we're probably fecked.Not getting through a wall of ham

Greenwood had a decent spell, but James has offered very little. I’d ask for him to give everything for the first ten minutes of the second half and then take him off for someone else. Probably Telles, maybe Amad.

We've done ok. Never easy to break down a organised unit. We just need to remain patient. We've got into some decent positions.This is a brief worm hole to the future...if Moyes was still our manager and we were playing City...Rashford and Maguire miss one good chance every match.- Status
