    This is the best I have seen United playing after the Fergie days. Free-flowing, direct, beautiful and creative, its getting their slowly. No complaints with the attacking display but their set-pieces defending is dodgy. It can still hurt us as their Keeper is having a worldy against as (as usual).
     
    Good reaction after going a goal down, should be a couple of goals ahead really.

    Finishing still a bit suspect though...

    And west ham look dangerous from set pieces.
     
    What a first half.... Valencia, Mata, Jesse and Rashford brilliant. Very good first half with pace and tenacity

    We just cant score with 1 on 1 with the keeper although the angles were probably too narrow

    If every keeper is like this against us, then surely it must be us? The chances we have are not really that good, and we are shit at finishing?
     
    Referees HATE us. Every f'n referee! Since Fergie retired we have got NOTHING. It's like they have been waiting for revenge for three decades. He kicked a f'n bottle?! Should definitely be winning this. Can't keep missing these 1 v 1s.

    Thing is though, he doesn't do that dive, he's kicked by Noble because he was nowhere near the ball. It's pretty silly overall, especially that Payet did exactly the same shit minute earlier in front of our box when Herrera went in.

    At Zlatan to that list, link up play has been superb, especially for Lingard and Rashford chances.

    I am at work so not watching but is Jesse having a decent game, do we still expect people next week to be saying "BUT WHY HE DOES NOTHING"

    It's for sure that we are not doing enough. We cannot kep saying every week its the refs fault, or the other team raised their game, or their goalie had a worldy. We need to start putting points on the board. The start to the season is no where near good enough
     
    I'm enjoying watching the game. Mourinho's plan is starting to gain shape and it doesn't look like anything we've seen before.
     
    Got draw written all over it. I'm sure we will fluff a few more chances as well as Randolph and defenders producing heroics right til the last minute. I Fecking hate West Ham.

    It really fecking isnt until we score another 2 or 3 goals.

    The mentality of this team is so weak and fragile. From the early goal conceded to the raft of missed chances and lack of composure in front of goal.

    Dont be fooled by the possession stats and the chances. We lack any resemblance of cutting edge and THATS why we bought the likes of Henrikh Mikhtaryan. To make that difference yet he sits on the bench.

    Rashford? :lol: He's been our worst player easily.
     
    It's performances like this why I think it's too early to be questioning Mourinho. We were demanding more incisive, entertaining football last year, and it's clear to anyone that he has already gone a long way to delivering this. Sure, results have to follow at some point, but at this stage it looks like we're heading in a positive direction, even it's a bit slower than we would have wanted/expected.

    I don't know why Mata is on duty. Either he hits the first man or the GK catches it. It's been like that for the last few seasons. Why do you think they gave Jonesy a try last season :P
