We need a win in this one as Everton away is always tricky.

Nothing personal against Rashford but that's the way things are. I'm a big fan of Martial personally but it's pretty obvious he needs to be out of the team for a bit to see his reaction and how he returns. He's simply been poor and lost his place.

Same way I'm baffled by any poor performing players being picked. I questioned Rooney's selection when he was poor, Lingard, Fellaini, didn't have much chance to question or be baffled by Martial inclusions since he'd rightly been dropped because of under performing.

Same logic applies yo Rashford who's been poor and extremely unproductive from the wing anyways. He's been consistently poor yet he's consistently picked which is what baffling.

Carrick was never going to start. I expect he will play against Everton. Bastian may get some minutes today and may start on Wednesday depending.

If we are comfortable, Mikhi and Rooney may not even come on.

Not a fanboy or anything, but on the back of Thursdays good performance, i had hoped to see Miki in the starting XI.

Seeing Lingaard there does not bother me at all, hes been pretty good. The thing that confuses me is how Rashford keeps getting started depite being in pretty poor form.

Jose knows what he's doing. West Ham attacks are wing-oriented and have a 3-man backline if caught on the counter.

We needed wingers with energy for this match and Rashford, Lingard are best-suited. It is also probably why Young is on the bench ahead of Martial or Memphis.

He's a former brilliant player who has been fairly awful in the recent past. Gets paid a bloody fortune and doesn't contribute, yet he's more popular than Rooney. The whole thing is bloody weird.

Wish I could share your optimism but very rarely is it working out in our favour these days. This will be a difficult game.

Hopefully we can see consistent in our lineup if we perform well today. Surprised that Darmien got selected ahead of Blind or Shaw at leftback. Moreover, Mhkitaryan is included, although that is a bit harder to decipher because lingard, Mata and Rashford has done well this season.
