United hold on to win the three points but they made much harder work of it than they should have.
After a strong start, racing into a 2:0 lead, they let West Ham back into it with a soft goal and then Rooney's reckless red card put them under pressure for 30 minutes.
Some resolute defending saw them over the finishing line, but not a convincing victory.
That is simply incredible.This is the highlight of this game.Even better than the goals.That is the only positive from our defense this season.
