Decent half from us. We are in total control of the game with WBA sitting right back. What has been positive, is that we have been able to create a couple of good chances. Just need to actually put one away now.

What's the point in West Brom, really? They aren't even trying to win the football match, no ambition whatsoever.

It baffles me how we still can't figure out how to play against a team with bodies behind the ball. Fed up of hearing it as an excuse all the time

    So predictable that.

Just a complete lack of movement and off the ball running. Lingards was the only bit of it I've seen at the back post.

I think we've been good, can't really help what we have to play against

Have to be able to break these sorts of teams down, otherwise change system/style of play. Plan B consisting of Fellaini is a bit underwhelming as well.

I don't know how so many can watch us and defend the style of football Van Gaal employs. 1 goal in 345 minutes at Old Trafford in our last 3 and a half games here. Shocking stuff.

We're allergic to shooting. Took us 40 minutes to register a shot from outside of the box. We've had the ball in good areas loads abs have sweet F.A. To show for it.

The right hand side just ain't working, Carrick's having a massive off day too. Need some pace down the right and more desire to score from the centre of midfield.

Definitely good attacking intent. West Brom well within their rights to park the bus. Hasn't quite fallen for us.

Disappointing that we're playing at a slower tempo than we did against Moscow midweek. Hope it picks up in the second half.

8 goals in 6 games for Chicharito Hernandez. Don't know why we let him go, he was a great plan B.
It would be absolutely pointless having him in the side as we don't create anything.

West Brom are quite happy to let us have the ball and just shut the door when we get close to the 18 yard area, there's been the odd decent move that has presented a half chance to Mata and Lingard but overall it's pretty much a rinse and repeat pattern of nothingness.

Just can't break teams down that don't have the ambition for more than a point.

But in fairness, west brom have been disgusting by truly parking the bus.

In all fairness teams have been doing that for two decades at OT. With a little more creativity and attacking flair you open them up, score the first goal and then the game opens up.

Problem is this possession style is just too easy to defend against and we don't create enough chances to score on a regular basis.

Teams have every right to park the bus. It's up to us to break them down and we don't seem like we can. Same old passing shit. No one with guts to take on their defenders with some dribbles.

Not a bad first half from us. Much better tempo and movement on final third. Big improvement compared to other games where teams just camped on their own half.

Get Herrera on to attack that midfield as WBA are offering nothing there.

Had some good periods in that game, also great to see we aren't so static anymore. FBs are pushing forward a lot and we actually cause some problems in wide areas. Rooney unfortunately still is pretty much missing, Martial doing all the work up front on his own and Mata playing very centrally which probably also makes it difficult for Rooney to find space but he hasn't been super bad either tbf.

I just feel we should allow at least one of our CMs to push up a bit higher to cause some more trouble through the center and keep Mata a bit wider to offer Young more passing options.

What's the point in West Brom, really? They aren't even trying to win the football match, no ambition whatsoever.

Why should they do anything else? They know they are a strong defensive team and we can't do anything against teams like that. They also know we'll leave space on the break as the game goes on like this. I don't get why people criticise a team who came with a plan that gives them the best chance for at least a point.

Smalling bossing Rondon completely. If his distribution was better, he would be the perfect CB.

We're so frustrating to watch. Under Moyes our shit games were worse than this, but at least we got one or two decent games during the season. This year has been fecking dire.

Not our fault they want to park the bus.
Hardly a surprise, is it? We've shown time and time again this season that we're helpless against teams that sit back and stay compact. They're playing to our weakness, and anything else would be ridiculous.

So in a way you can actually say that, yes, it is our fault they want to park the bus. If we hadn't shown a hundred times under LVG that we're diabolical at breaking down buses, it would have forced them to reconsider their game plan.
