    15. Henrikh Mkhitaryan
    16. Wayne Rooney
    17. Marcus Rashford
    18. Anthony Martial
Mata, Blind and Shaw not spotted, though Blind tends to arrive at a different time. I'd imagine both Mata and Blind will be in the squad.

    All your fault! :D

No way we are getting more than a draw here. They'll score a minimum of one set piece, and we'll struggle to score more than once.

How many times will they make me keep changing my team prediction!

    De Gea
    Young Bailly Rojo Blind
    Carrick Fellaini
    Lingard Mkhi Martial
    Rashford
Resting Valencia for the Everton game. Rojo also needs rest but will be forced to play.

Mkhitaryan has improved a lot when playing #10, but Lingard has showed lately some resources there too, maybe he'll be deploy centrally with Mkhitaryan playing Mata's position.

Could be Rooney too, I guess. :wenger:

    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Rojo Young
    Carrick Fellaini
    Lingard Mkhitaryan Martial
    Rashford

Subs: Romero; Darmian, Shaw; Blind, Mensah, Willock; Rooney
Pretty shoddy state of affairs. Despite Valencia and Rojo's international exertions, we're not in a position to rest either.

Need a lot of physicality and height in the team for this, so Carrick and Fellaini are no-brainers. Even though it's enforced either way.

Bench is hugely underwhelming, let's hope Rooney can summon the Wazza of old if we need an impact sub. This is gonna be a cagey, tense affair I feel.

I know is fashionable to diss Rooney, but this is just silly. Rooney has to start in these circumstances.

Why are people choosing Young and Shaw over Blind at LB. Am I missing something?

Why? Has he been better than any one of those options? He's also just come back from injury (if there ever was one, tbh).

Which one out of that front four does 2017 Rooney perform better than?

Yeah, that is right - no one.

Why? Out of those four players who is he better than? You could argue Lingard is more effective now.

Without Herrera, Mata and Ibra, I'd like some experience in the front positions.

I dont trust Lingard, Martial and Rashford dabbing and dicking around without some senior supervision.

I certainly dont want Lingard, Martial and Rashford dabbing and dicking around without some senior supervision!
Can you not classify 28 year-old Mkhitaryan as 'senior supervision'?

But think. They have the youthful energy and passion that could just surprise WBA

Mkhitaryan has a lot of experience, plus the team behind the young forwards will be really experienced. Let the kids play!

The only way Blind doesn't feature as leftback is if Mourinho is going to feature him instead of a tired Rojo as center-back. Blind is not famous for his physical recoveries and just played an almost complete international game.

Not someone others are 'scared of' like they are Ibra or Rooney.

Defenders scared of the Rooney of today? More like they have a sigh of relief when they see him in the lineup, especially considering he usually takes 3-4 matches minimum to get back ticking after injury.

Not someone others are 'scared of' like they are Ibra or Rooney.

And the ”fear" is the only way to make them perform? How about the away game vs Middlesbrough, we were missing Zlatan, Herrera and Pogba in that one, too.

A few injuries to key players make you realise just how poor our squad depth is.

I'd rather not. We desperately need these points.

And Rashford has consistently underwhelmed when he starts at no 9. Plus while I agree Rooney is not a first XI starter, I don't agree he is so bad, he cant get a game given the injuries we have now.

Anyways, thats just me, lets see what Jose goes for.

Does Rooney scare anyone right now? I'd be surprised…

Rooney still has the full respect of the younger players. I think his experience would help. Id certainly pick him over Lingard,

    United are still fine.

Shaw, Young and Martial can come from the fringes and make an impact. Rojo and Blind can become full time CB's.

Was really counting on the added attacking players so that Mourinho would go for a possession based team tomorrow, but now that we know Mata is out… I'm afraid the 3 at the back might continue, although I'm still unsure the manager will risk all available center-backs, specially after international games.

How will Barca cope without, say, Messi, Neymar, Pique and Busquets? No squad in the world is good enough to replace 5 (and a half) starters without the drop in quality. Especially when Ibra, Mata, Pogba and Herrera are our best players, only De Gea, Micky and Valencia (or Martial but not based on this season) can be considered their equals

If Martial doesn't start tomorrow, what would that say about the way he's been training?

If Toffees win, it would be Lukaku scoring a hattrick. In which case we should get him, no questions asked.

I've captained him in the fantasy footy. He's scored 5 in the last 4, and 9 in the last 6!

I dare say Everton will fail against Liverpool again though. Hope they can at least keep a draw though, and if we scuffle past West Brom we'll be in a terrific position with at least Herrera and Ibra back on Tuesday,.

Hope Fellaini shakes his knock off, as he's suddenly a vital part tomorrow! Without him we're going to be devoured if they set pieces.

We can still put a decent team out, just weak in the air.

    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Rojo Young
    Carrick Fellaini
    Miky Lingard Martial
    Rashford

Bench is going to be super weak, Rooney, Blind, Darmian, Shaw, Romero, and a couple of random attacking youngsters then!

At least Ibra and Herrera are definites to come in for Tuesday, with the hopeful possibility Pogba might be ready too.
