    He said recently he can play until 42-43 at the highest level easily.
    Knowing the club, there is a five years bumper contract incoming.

    Every club has their fair share of duffers. Fred has been decent this season and no way could Ronaldo have gone to City.

    Same old theme, Ronaldo is a legend but kills attacks because he can't link up, can't press, is not creative, can't run in behind. He's not the problem but definitely part if the problem
     
    This has been the best football we've played since Villa away and best at OT since Crystal Palace at home - Ralf's first game.

    He didn’t touch the ball? He just swipes Elanga’s feet away. Even if he did touch the ball you can’t kick the attacker first to do it.

    If you were being generous then the reason it’s not a pen could be that Elanga kind of falls over by putting the outside of his boot on the ball. But the defender still kicks him without playing the ball.

    This teams lack of composure in front of the goal is actually quite amazing. It's not just one game, they manage to do it week in, week out. Takes some real talent
     
    Brilliant first 30min, hopefully we get more of that and not the usual good half/bad half.
     
    Decided to watch the first half without checking the Caf. Usual negativity here. Almost like a joke at this point. Ronaldo has looked great. Fred quality. AWB very good. Matic class. Only Bruno has been a little clumsy today.

    fantastic first half performance. Pressing football, lots of control, and everything is working apart from scoring.
     
    45 mins of watching Fernandes and Ronaldo miss and take heavy touches/dribbles :drool:
     
    We have consistently been 2nd Half FC this season - the stats back that up consistently.

    2-0 FT I would expect, honestly should be that already.

    Very good half of football. We will score eventually.
    Didn’t know Elanga can be this good. I liked him for his defensive work but since he gained confidence he is better and better. We have a very good talent in our hands. Bring on Hannibal as well, the boy will conquer Rome.

    My understanding of the ruling is as long as the defender makes no contact with the player, it isn't a foul.

    I could be wrong, I'm not 100%.
     
    a bit of comedy that bruno hasn't scored.....he's had two glorious chances that he should have buried and unlucky from ronaldo hitting the post

    we HAVE to score first bc if watford does you won't see them come out of their defensive third
     
    Difference with the reverse fixture is night and day, becoming a good watch again.
