We’ve been really good in this half. Obviously wasteful as well but our overall play and control of the game is very good. Now if only Bruno and Ronaldo can stop being wasteful in front of goal.

It's not a coincidence we haven't scored so far, we are practically without a goal threat up front except Ronaldo.

Yeah general play has been really good. Midfield two and CB two not being clumsy (Maguire) and unable to pass (Mctininay) has helped. Elanga has looked quality and Ronaldo better in the buildup but him and Bruno have to give us end product.

Good half, could easily be 3-4 goals up, both full backs have been good going forward, Elanga has quickened the game up every time he has it. Matic dominating, but it is shocking just how muchy space Watford have given him, they are one lazy team.

Very disappointing to be 0:0 at half time.

Dreadful finishing in the first 30 mins, then took the foot of the gas. Again. We desperately need more quality at the FB position. AWB offers nothing in attack and Telles has just been poor all around. Shaw and Dalot don't offer too much themselves. Elanga had a cracking first 20 minutes, then vanished.

Subs need to be good.

Watford are shite though, it could have worked with basically any tactics and players. As we've seen in recent weeks, our first halfs have been pretty similar to this with different players, and this is probably the worst opponent so far, so I really wouldn't take anything out of this game yet.

We would score sooner if Bruno was in central position and Pogba or Rashford/Sancho were wide, because he is simply much bigger threat through the middle.
