    Good goal and it's an entertaining game for sure but we are all over the place, midfield is non existent.
     
    That can be called a half of 2 halves or something. Crap first 20 minutes but after the goal we dominated and did pretty well.

    Still it's a must to score the second or they might equalize.
     
    Martial has another horrible game. Doesn't look like a 200k/wk player.
     
    Couldve probably scored like 3 or 4 in that half tbh. So many near miss passes, a bit too sloppy but enough to suggest if we sharpen up we'll get another couple of goals. Awful start but fine once we settled.

    Martials been sharp, Shaw best player by far.
     
    Can’t help but feel Martial would be better in that central false 9 role that Mata is playing.
     
    Lucky to be ahead, but that's good enough for now. The lack of pressing by Martial should be addressed, his intensity has been low today. Shaw, Pogba, Jones doing the business.

    None of them did. No one was marshalling the defense and our out ball was atrocious and our midfield just stood on and watched. We have been much better in the last 20 with the back line being excellent.
     
    Herrera based on this showing is so far away from the wages he demanding, getting schooled by Watford cms.

    Also our decision making, especially Martial in final 3rd is incredibly stupid, so many openings.
     
    A very strange half. The next goal could be either side. We looked better after the goal but still carrying passengers in Matic and Herrera.
     
    Tired of the team starting off so poorly. It cannot continue. Only luck and two CB doing a great job made sure Watford didn't score 1-2 goals. And even when we get better it is very clear where we need new players. We NEED to make superb signings this summer.
     
    Probably Watford's best performance in the first 20 minutes.Since then they've been indifferent.
    We've been average for the most part minor a few moments of decent football.

    Matic is being bypassed though.He's a clear central weak link.And Young wont push-up and support because he'll be burnt on the counter.

    Smalling and Jones have done well,considering.
     
    Awful for the first 15 minutes and then we switched to the diamond which brought Mata central, him and Pogba started popping off passes and suddenly we were off to the races, Ole has to realize at this point it's the best formation for the players we have.

    Herrera and Matic need to to pick it up in the second half, Matic in particular isn't tracking the runs and has been sloppy on the ball. On the flipside Shaw and Martial showed some encouraging link-ups in the half.
     
    Herrera, Matic and Young I thought have been the 3 worst by a distance. They improved as the half went on but so fecking sloppy at the start

    I had this issue for the longest time, not sure this is what's causing it for you, but you have to whitelist streamable on your adblocker because most o the time (not always) it wants to show a skippable ad before the video.
     
    We're playing better but still far too open and direct for my liking. Surely it's partly because of Watford pressing and getting their lines so high, inviting us to counter. But I think we'll do fine by keeping the ball for periods and getting the team compact in one piece. We are broken in two sides and it means zero control.
