We beat Newcastle 4-1, and then had a lead against Young Boys. Things looked overall good.

But then one red card cost us that game, followed by a tough win in the league, a loss over the weekend and looking really bad today. We need to learn how to respond to bad results.

Sancho has been good, de gea has been incredible, the rest I don't know what to say.

You can blame it on Pogba playing in the middle, but surely with more discipline we can stop Villareal going through us like a knife through butter.

McTominay got done on the run by Pau Torres. Other than that, he's been defensively good.

The vast majority of Villareal's chances have come from Dalot losing one-on-one against Danjuma.

Our control of the game is a seperate point. On that, the defenders are bypassing the midfielder and going straight for Bruno or Pogba between the lines. That needs to stop.

Ole was right that we're attacking too quickly. We need PP to drop back, slow down the passing and take the game by the scruff of the neck. That's what happened during the 10-15 minutes where we looked decent.

Just seems like a cascade of problems. Bruno pushes too far forward, now we have a huge gap in midfield to link the attack. Pogba tries to fill that space, now we have huge amount of area behind him that is only filled by mctominay since our wingers are up high as well. Leaves huge spaces for villareal to exploit since no way to cover the space. Isolates our FBs one v one at best, sometimes 1 v 2 villareal players. Just a joke tactical team from a guy who just doesnt have it

Commentators are right we rely on individual brilliance and have for a while. This is because Ole is out of his depth, so relying on individual brilliance which he luckily got from the likes of Bruno last season

Commentators would be "astounded" if he doesn't sort the right hand subs. No subs, so prepare to be astounded...
