Pogba will inevitably play deep to compensate for McTominay's poor positioning and his habit of hiding when we're granted possession. As a result McTominay will likely make pointless forays in advanced positions, just like the EL final where McTominay was praised for simply running around and not hurting Villarreal one bitJules Breach
