Robbie savage with a big statement. Saying a decision must be made this week. We can’t go on like this. I feel like it will be worse though if we put Ruud or one of the other Dutch coaches in charge.

3 goals against, Bruno straight red, two injuries, 5 yellows. Penalty not given, softest red card ever seen, shambolic performance. Played like a head with its chicken cut off. Against Spurs. Battered by Spurs. I don't want to hear from any of these cnuts in any post match interview. They should all hang their heads in shame, starting with Ten Hag.
Didn’t get to see the penalty situation. I also don’t get how the elbow to back mounts head is no card?
These players can be better, but it requires drilling a lot of their natural instincts out of them. A bit like the Pep/Arteta approach of turning players into automatons.
There are natural things like marking people on the far post that we just forget to do. That’s a natural instinct for any defender. It’s very odd. Maybe you could say the team feels over run and out of it so they make stupid mistakes, but idk if that’s true.

I will always trust my judgment, thank you. Like Sir Jim and all the senior figures at United I did believe Ten Hag deserved another chance this season, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to work out for him.
What is happening is by far the most likely outcome of giving him another chance, and means we have wasted another season. So i really do struggle to understand why anyone thinks we should have kept him after the cup final

You can't possibly put Ruud in as proper manager. A week or 2 interim manager maybe.

You'd hope our supposed "quality" management team would have other options in mind.
And I don't mean Potter or Southgate.

We should have the pull to pluck a choice of manager from somewhere. We spend huge amounts on players yet the manager is more important than any player.

    They always do wait.
You don't renew a contract then sack someone 3months later, having let them spend another 150m
We’ll, you do if you’re ruthless and have a clue.
Don’t see the point of waiting. It’s been more then 2 years. Poor results and performances will just continue or get worse.

They obviously weighed up all the options in the summer and decided there wasn't a better manager about.
Seems hard to believe they'll suddenly now think one of those same options is better.

Not what I'm saying - this is what the board will probably be thinking.

Well, we are in a long journey under this board then. If they can’t find someone who will do better, they are as bad as Woody.

Disagree with westham villa Newcastle spurs Chelsea

They just have managers who know what they’re doing

Outside of arsenal city and Liverpool, no way are we miles behind. We just have a shit manager
I’m sorry but you’re overrating our lot.
Cole Palmer would be straight into our first 11. Neto is ahead of any our wide players, showed it for Wolves last season, only thing stopping him is injuries. Nkunku the same. And Jackson is starting to find his feet. Rashford is woeful and Garnacho has good flashes but still very inconsistent. Hojlund and Garnacho have potential but currently not good enough.
Would you honestly not take Bowen over Amad for our right wing?
Gordon would definitely take Rashfords spot.
We were interested in and badly needed Olise, and that’s the level of wide player we should have, someone who guarantees double figures in goals/assists or regularly creating danger.

But I agree our manager is shit and needs to be sacked asap.

Not until some othr team appoints Southgate, please spare us that!
He's now 2/1 for the job, the bloke couldn't manage Middlesborough

We are badly managed and players are bang out of form
Put those players in this club and they’d fail as well

Tend to agree, if there were signs, any signs of improvement I'd say wait, but even brigning in Ruud doesn't seem to have had a beneficial effect, quarter of the season gone, better to cut your losses now than wait, things are looking like they will get worse with some tough games to come.

Rashford is not good enough. Even in his good spells his passing and decision making for the team have been inconsistent.
Bruno, again, he is too erratic. For every good assist he will give it away 5 times.
Amad is getting towards prime years but has only showed flashes.
Garnacho has time. Same with Hojlund, but if we’re wanting to get top 4, we can’t be relying on these as starters.
A new coach should help but I doubt it will be the silver bullet until we actually sign at least one attacker who consistently performs. So until we do that, 5th or 6th place is about as high as we will finish. And that’s sad.

Massive decisions and changes need to happen in the coming year.

We probably won't lose and even if we do they won't sack him.

We've had this for years every defeat people thinking the board will sack someone.

They used to wait until top 4 wasn't possible, but have changed now to allow cup success
We just got battered at home to Spurs and we probably won’t lose against Porto away? Disagree completely with you there mate.

When do you think they will pull the trigger then? Bearing in mind this is Ten Hags third season, and almost 20 months of consistent league-based failure.

It's not about whether Southgate would make us worse than our lowest ebb under Ten Hag, it's about whether he could make significant progress in helping us get back to the top. The answer is obviously no, so I'd prefer to hold off until the right manager becomes available.
Well, that’s where we differ then, after 2+ season of this embarrassment I want a change. We’re the laughing stock of world football.

Ye that’s what I was saying. Ruud would be the interim but if we’re throwing a season away we need to scrap an interim and hire a full time manager who can start right away and implement a style whilst still playing competitive games.

I'd like to think they'd do it just before Jan if we're miles off even top 6.
But I wouldn't put it past them to drag this on to the summer because we have a little run in a cup.
Plus the fact they renewed his deal and let him bag huge wads again clearly on players he's picked as little as 6-8 weeks back.

The fear with a change now is they go for an out of work manager. Yes Southgate or Potter probably couldn't do worse than the current but you wouldn't back either to make decent inroads upwards.

If it’s between the 2 it has to be potter. And hope he can get back to his Brighton days. Did he at least develop a style at Chelsea?

( RVN shouldn't be the manager of united I want no more Dutch managers
Whilst I agree, ETH right now is so bad we need to take immediate action and therefore dismiss him tomorrow morning, We know how much it will cost to sort out ETH compensation package, we need time to get the next appointment right, and an interim appointment of RVN, who has has first team experience, has won a Dutch Cup and knows the club buys the club time, he’s perfect for 10-12 games or 7-8 matches, the hierarchy can then take their time to sound out the market and get the right appointment.

Like you said I don’t want to hear there is no other manager out there that could do a better job, Most Managers in the PL could do a better Job here’s a few just to list them

    Thomas Tuchel(
Available has PL experience just offer more money huge upgrade on this idiot)
Thomas Frank (Available, deserves a bigger team, will get United hard to beat let him go buy Brian Mbeumo who instantly becomes our best striker)
Luis De La Fuente(On a modest salary, right up Berrada street, works brilliantly with Youth and Plays great football)
Andona Iraola ( Proved with Bournemouth that he can play expansive attacking football)
Mauricio Pochetino (I’m sure we could get him out of his US Contract and he’s a huge upgrade on this idiot)
Edin Terzic (plays great football, just got Dortmund to a CL Final, another huge upgrade on ETH.

Right now I’d even take Brendan Rogers or Graham Potter

ETH has 6 PL wins in the last 20 PL matches. No More Time required, let’s hope INEOS do the right thing and pull the trigger asap, he can’t survive the International break, this is their own making but now they must be decisive.

He’s had 4 big chances and been given ridiculous financial support for a coach that had Never Won a CL, Europa League or a Title in one of the big 4 Leagues in Europe!

    ETH had 4 lives;
    1. Bottom of the CL Group last season - should have been Sacked
    2. Lost 14 PL games /19 overall - Should have been Sacked
    3. Negative GD in PL and Finished 8th over the last 44 EPL games should be sacked, he’s lost 17 from 44 which is a 39% loss Rate.
    4. His last chance was the first 8 or 9 games of this season well he’s played 9 including CS W3 D3 L3 - Win Rate 33% currently sits 12th in the EPL while other teams just laugh at us every week!

I think we have the same problem as before we bought Eriksen and Casemiro - namely our central midfield. When Eriksen and Casemiro came to United, they solved a problem in our central midfield, but we all knew they were only a temporary and short-term solution due to their age.

Now we face the same problem again: Our central midfield is far too thin. As an example, I can use the match against Twente and Tottenham's first goal. In both cases, a defensive player gets the opportunity to run from his own half towards our goal and create a goal. Nobody stops them. No one makes free kicks on them. They both encounter very little resistance as they run down towards our defenses.

We have Mainoo and Ugarte. Here, Mainoo is good, but also still young and he is still a bit unstable in his performances. Ugarte just isn't good enough, I'm afraid. His core competency should be defending the defense. But he doesn't do that very well (yet??). He can do nothing offensively.

Mount already seems "over the hill" like Eriksen and Casemiro, although he is not very old.

So we have the same before as we did a couple a years ago - not enough quality in central midfield.

Rashford is not good enough. Even in his good spells his passing and decision making for the team have been inconsistent.
Bruno, again, he is too erratic. For every good assist he will give it away 5 times.

When almost every player is out of form it’s the manager
On a individual basis we have all the attributes the other teams chasing 4/5/6 have

One of my best mates is a spurs supporter and another a Liverpool fan they message me most weekends about football . They didn't even take the piss today . That's how bad we are , don't even deserve the effort of slagging off. Sad sad times

Not for ETH’s believers. They think the team will magically click one day. We are better this season they say.
    The numbers are falling.
IF he is to survive, he has to find a way of motivating these players, and very quickly, I'm not sure he can do that.

When almost every player is out of form it’s the manager

I disagree. I don’t think the quality is there at all. Garnacho, Hojlund and Amad have potential but are also wildly inconsistent. They wouldn’t start for the current top 4.

What about giving it to Ruudy until the end of the season, and then snatching the vampire out of Villa? I'd prefer to take a stab at him over Tuchel.
