We are a complete and utter mess. Fernandes should have been gone in the summer along with Rashford and proper replacements should have been sought with the 100m we would have got for them.

Oh now only your mind is changed after these 45 minutes. Never trust your judgment again.
It's not just that it's bad. What's different is that it's the best XI so there isn't really much excuse for the incoherent play. When every player is off the pace like this then something is really wrong.

That jogging back from Dalot for the goal was so bad, a lot worst than what Casemiro got heavily criticised for.

Instead of talking about poor performance we sit here and talk about referee making sure we don’t come back from this. Pathetic from referees and VAR.

Looking at the game we are just to static. Rashford, DeLigt and Dalot are fantasticly poor.
can't make my mind up on the penalty... over the top is a red but VAR last season would have overruled it. this season the blokes go out for a piss for a few mins so as not to get involved

Ugarte - his positioning is awful. He was like a headless chicken.
De Light - is having a mare
Mazraui - our right side wa non-existent
Bruno - dumb move from him, he was shite anyway
    Rashford and Zirkzee are wasteful.
Onana MOTM it could have been 0:4 easily.
Our players are physical but not technical enough.
    Our passing is shocking!
ETH needs to go. We need a caretaker manager or something. This clownshow must stop.

I don't blame Ten Hag for all of the players not completing so many of their passes in that first 45 minutes. That was utter dogshit from everyone other than Martinez and Onana.

What I blame Ten Hag for is starting Bruno over Eriksen in number 10. He stunk out the place and knew it. Could see him getting frustrated with himself and the stupid foul was a result of that just as much as the slip.

If Ten Hag wants to die on the Bruno Fernandes hill then he might've just got his wish.

With Bruno in there and no Eriksen or Diallo we have no ability on the ball.

There is no way you can play those old legs of Eriksen 5 games in a row. I would have started Mount instead of Bruno. Understandably no eriksen.

How were we not up for this game? Just didn't turn up...
Yeah we didn’t turn up. The mighty ten hag reds didn’t turn up. It’s just in our hands. Nothing to do with the other team making us look like mugs because of the clueless manager and his tactics.

Zirkzee probably looks brilliant in training or 5 a side games, but his array of ambling around and little flicks is going to grow to be annoying unless Hojlund is anywhere near ready soon.

Possibly the worst red card decision ever (especially considering VAR looked at it) but we were properly shite before it too so no real change to the course of the game. Might actually force us to tighten up now.

That was as bad as it gets. Onana- excellent. Everyone else - barely 2 out of 10. Could've conceded six and quite possibly might end up doing.

It doesn't matter who the manager is when players basic level of competence is so low. Messing up simple three yard passes. Giving the ball away time after time when there's easy passes available that any professional footballer should be able to pull off. You don't see this from sides in the bottom three. You can have off days, but the floor can't be this low, ever.

Couple that with a complete lack of effort, complete lack of backbone and complete lack of leadership and this game could end up a humiliation.

Time for the manager to go - this is embarrassing and its his fault.
I mean he’s not been great but are you absolving the players of all blame who don’t seem to be able to pass and seem to be waiting for someone else to do their job.

You rate Johnson? Based on what? The guy is as average as they come. And I firmly believe last season was an anomaly for Solanke. Sure of that.

Would you swap their front 3 to ours?

You can be average and still win more games because you actually run and chase the ball, with intelligence

Dalot on that first goal :lol:

Raises his hands up like "feck ok my bad I have enough good performances in my locker to get away with that"

He used up virtually all of his credit in that first half. Genuinely awful performance. I like him a lot, too. He's been one of our more consistent players, but he's been southern fried dogshit today.

A slip is serious foul play. Shocking

The Red will over-shadow this and people will say it was the red that cost us. But we have been a shambles.

How that's not 3 or 4 nil is incredible. The games done now for me anyway, ridiculous red card for Bruno, the games gone too soft. Pathetic from ref.

The whole side have lost the plot, we cant play out from the back but we keep trying and we keep getting caught.

Horrific display, I hope he gets sacked this week as we're going to have our worst Premier League season this year if he remains any longer.
I got loads of abuse in the summer for saying extending his contract was one of the craziest decisions the club has made in years

Dalot on that first goal :lol:

Raises his hands up like "feck ok my bad I have enough good performances in my locker to get away with that"
He's never been consistent enough to be a first choice full back, never mind playing out of position. The lack of a proper left back has cost us at least three goals now.

That jogging back from Dalot for the goal was so bad, a lot worst than what Casemiro got heavily criticised for.

Careful, last time I highlighted him being extremely overrated, I got a lot of hate from fanboys. Apparently he was out best player last season too.

I can see Mount getting a second yellow in the 2nd half. He’s hot headed, not match fit and will be scrambling around get passed through for the next 45 minutes.

Not sure I even wanna watch this

We had a poor result with C. Palace and mid week draw with Twente. I would think the team is motivated at Old Tafford to start the game well. I guess the team thinks Spurs will roll over for an easy win. How can we have a manager that is unable to motivate the team? What tactical changes did he make? Seems like a sinking ship regardless who is in-charge. Never should have kept Erik, there are many managers to chose from and they kept the bald feck.

Sherwood redeemed. People questioning how we'd be on the back foot sitting back trying to halt them.

    Our players are vastly overrated.

Yeah, they are. But I'm confident that if we swapped staying elevens with Tottenham we'd been watching a pretty similar match to the one we're getting today.

If you find yourself trying to debate whether player A or player B is better, the answer is always "the one not in the United shirt".
