    Dear lord, that front 3. If we don’t beat spurs today then I want ten hag to be sacked at full time publicly.
     
    If we can’t beat this swashbuckling, suicidal band of merry cnuts with their stupendously high line and no Son, then we really should pack it all in.
     
    I do not understand why ZIrkzee is starting. He has not shown much so far in United. He sometimes has his 10-20 minutes, where he plays well, but otherwise he is too often out of the game.

    A fit Shaw starts and rasmus you can argue potentially starts in the strongest 11 but he's right there can be no excuses today.

    I really think Bruno needs a game or two on the bench to get his head back in the game. But the time to do that was probably the last few games rather than the run of games we have coming up.

    Nothing is coming off for him at the minute. I just wish he'd go back to basics for a bit and play it simple rather than forcing holiday balls or outside of the boot flicks which are going wayward every time.
     
    Question is: can this team take the chances it creates? We can go on blaming luck and lack of composure and if the coaches did their job, we should be seeing some improvements. Let's see.

    Which would then be without merit as well. We did play well with Zirkzee in the team. And it isn't like Hojlund punished teams left right and centre when he last played.
     
    Our best football has come somewhere between Mount or Eriksen starting and Bruno and Rashford not starting.

    First half v Brighton (Mount, Rashford and Fernandes start)
    Southampton (Eriksen, Rashford and Fernandes start)
    Barnsley (Eriksen and Rashford start)
    Crystal Palace 1st half (Eriksen and Fernandes start)

    Amad (or Garnacho) coming off the bench is a powerful weapon for us to have. It gives us something different. I'm a fan of players like this coming on in the second half of games to change the pace of our attack, especially when the other side are tiring.
     
    Probably our strongest team if you have Shaw back and Amad on the right but Amad was pretty poor against Twente so I'm not surprised to see him benched for a game. Really need a win today, hopefully we can do it.

    So what? The universe doesn’t implode if a club captain is rotated along with everyone else in the team.

    Walker is club captain for City and doesn’t start for every game.
     
    Also, Lindelof is finally fit to make it to the bench. Need him to rotate or get some games from the bench. Decent cover at rb to give some rest for our full backs who’ve been overworked

    It’s more the weird ‘my Bruno shall play’ garbage.

    Most club captains still play even if a bit off form. Would be more a surprise if they didn’t.

    He's like a souped up Weghorst. Does all the right things in build up play and pressing but looks too slow and clumsy to actually score. Hopefully that's a temporary thing.
