these look like two bang average teams. need improvements.

Carrick has been brilliant as always.

Looking like we'll still struggle to create opportunities this season

He really is. Cant cross the ball to save his life as usual. Everytime he gets the ball out wide he fafs around for so long trying to cut the ball on to his right foot that our other players and Spurs players have brewed a cup of tea, had a chinwag and then got back out on the pitch before Young does anything with it. The left side of the pitch appears to be covered in treacle because Young slows everything up everytime he gets it.
Do you not remember our goal?

Who said Schneiderlin can't pass?! I've seen some great passing range from him this game.

Depay wrestled off the ball too easily there.

Is it normal that no one among the main companies broadcasting English football (don't put BeIN in there) has dared looking for Andy Gray after he was sacked from Sky Sports?

didn't he do a 1 game stint for BT Sport last season as some sort of guest commentator? For all his faults, he's alot better than these guys.

Five minutes to the break and the match has gone into a bit of a lull. Spurs under less pressure the last few minutes but United still probing.
As much as Rafa was a fan favourite, I feel far more comfortable with Darmian at RB than I ever did with Rafa, I'm afraid to say.

Twitter: Memphis celebrates the opening goal

    41 min

Spurs again sloppy in possession and Memphis bursts forward, goes for the shot on the edge of the box but it's blocked.
Am I the only one , who likes this coverage by BT so far?

Hoddle and Owen speak sense and because they're limiting their input with tidbits, it's fairly refreshing.

I honestly don't get the beef with Owen. His voice is monotone but he gives decent insight.

We need Memphis to get on the ball more... Looks like our best player when he does really.

He's up against a full back who is quicker than him so needs to do other things to get by him and unfortunately Walker is using the tactic of being a bit of an arse obstructing him.
He got the assist with a good cross, and could have set up Memphis with a good cross too. He's doing alright, not great but not a "stinker" either.

Fellaini and Young are ridiculously criticised by some on here for having poor games when they're having "decent ones" yet fan favourites will always get appraisal even if they're just as bad or worse. It's stupid.

I'd rather of kept Falcao if i knew we wouldn't be buying another striker to be honest.
Nah. He didn't provide enough. Rooney, Hernández, Wilson isn't a bad trio, plus we can play others there if we need to. Plus it means Chelsea have one of their squad places taken up by a useless lump. :D

He made an appearance in the FA Cup, I believe. Even at 59 years of age, Gray still offers a lot more in a broadcast booth than anybody at BT.
