We’ve played alright, although hesitant and lacking dynamism in the final third. Sancho not doing enough (again) and we desperately need one of the wide men to go 1v1.

Fred, Bruno and Casemiro have all played very well I think, but the front three need to do more.

Replace Rashford with a world class striker and we'd be up by 2 or 3 goals comfortably. He just isn't meant to play in that position.

Excellent first half soured by our lack of killer instinct in the box. Spurs are extremely boring. Conte might have got us more points on the table, but imagine playing like this against half the teams in the league, would be boring as hell...

Regardless of how the match turns out, there have been some positives today.

Probably the best half of football I've seen us play despite not scoring. If I'm being fussy, Rashford should've taken another touch before his shot, Antony really needs to try using his right foot sometimes and Bruno has to stop giving the ball away so needlessly. Sancho also had a poor 15 seconds or so where he made 3 mistakes in a row, but no harm no foul..

I don't understand ho are Spurs above us in the table... With a proper striker that would have been a harvest. Casemiro, Fred and Martinez were fantastic. Antony and Dalot too. Bruno can't hit a barn door. McT seems to be the only midfielder who can take low long shots. Sancho made a lot of mistakes he looks so nervous at times.

Unlucky not to be at least one up. Tough to do but we have to stick at it, keep playing the way we are, the goal will come. Very good performance. Maybe Eriksen could unlock them?
Maybe Sancho and Antony swap wings for a bit?

There's no point to cross the ball when Rashford is playing. Just get Ronaldo on as they are tied to thier box and Rashford is not going to score against this setup. He had a great chance and was watching the keeper yet he went straight at him with power.

We have shown good intensity but we've controlled the game because we've been allowed to.

We absolutely dominated Spurs, Kane and Son has almost zero opportunity. Martinez is a transformative player for our defence. I think we need to buy a striker in window transfer to finish top 4. Any decent striker would greatly increase our chances, can we give any under 23s a chance? Damn we are playing Spurs like their a mid table team. Fantastic!

actually playing good, we still need better penetration through the middle. Dribbling, ball carrying, one-twos, their low block will continue to force us wide or to those low percentage attempts. The commentators are overpraising Lloris when it's their defensive shape forcing us to settle for outside shots
