He had no problem interrupting our best passage of play of the entire game within 0.1 seconds of Dier hitting the deck though. All you'd expect is some consistency considering Dalot could've played one of them offside and allowed a goal with his position.Playing well, can't finish to save our lives though. Another striker buries that Rashford chance. Bruno shooting birds as usual.
Don't necessarily disagree but performances without results don't amount to a hill of beans.That was a good half of football. Some brilliant performances in midfield and defence particularly Case, Fred and Martinez. Missing that edge in the final third

Bruno has lost all ability to score, Sancho is currently useless, Rashford can't be relied on and Antony is probably our most likely source though Spurs having 9 at the back makes that impossible.
But we've been great out of the box and had them pegged back comfortably.This is the best half of football we have played under Ten Hag, only the goals are missing.

Yeah, the intensity is the main thing. I just want Antony and Sancho to add a bit more directness and variety in their play. Go down the line sometimes. Maybe they could switch wings occasionally just to change it up.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this, and I'm a full advocate of Ten Hag, but I'd still only rate that as a 7/10 half. Pretty muchWhat a difference having a striker would make..I’m a bit worried now… we’ve been a 1 halve team for years and since we’ve had a good first halve, we’ll probably switch of second halve. Hope we keep the intensity up but we can never last 90 mins.Couldn't ask for much more, apart from the obvious. Performances like this just cement the feeling that we're going in the right direction and as the squad become more accomplished and confident with what's asked of them and we make tweaks to the squad here and there we'll hopefully start killing teams off.That was sumptuous football at times. superb effort, some great great performances, not giving spurs an inch and then incisive passing and attacking… but we just cant score.
