Very enjoyable. Best half a game since Sir Alex retired IMO. Rooney, Young and Fellaini have been great so far. More of the same please. :D

    Also that celebration

Get Falcao on around 70 minutes or so. Let's see how he does in a team with confidence. Of course there's a risk that by then our team will just go into auto-pilot and not care as much, but still - may as well.

Would love to see Wilson get a run out too. Pereira would be a bonus.

Brilliant performance so far, easily the best we've played all season. Spurs haven't had a sniff. All three goalscorers are playing very well even apart from their goals. Keep it up.

Blind played lovely pass to Carrick who made an awesome throughball to Fellaini who finished like a boss.
Then Carrick with lovely header for 2nd and Rooney taking advantage of garbage defending by Spurs and boom 3-0
    Funny celebration too :D

Spurs haven't been great, but I would offer that a lot of this comes down to our passing. I think our movement and precision passing has had Spurs chasing shadows and sprinting around, wasting all of their energy. It isn't easy to keep pressing so hard when your opponents just pass it right through you nearly every time. If you rarely regain the ball after so much effort, your ability and drive to continue dissipates. We have been very dominant. I never saw it coming but I am happy as can be about it.

In multiple situations our players have gone right through the Spurs counterparts. Rooney's goal for example, that piece of play where Ander got away from 2 or 3 Spurs players and tried to pass Rooney in but Rooney had stopped his run

Its just flimsy nonsense from Spurs, half hearted efforts to win the ball

Calm the feck down!!!. We have played the best football ever. But Your assumption, that we are playing better and that's what is making spurs look clueless is not true. Spurs are not pressing in anyway. We have been always good against teams that give us time and space. And the defending for Rooney's goal was Sunday league quality.

I am not taking anything away from our performance. You can only play what is in front of you. This game is similar to the one we had early in the season against QPR, even though spurs are close to he top 4. I am enjoying us play this way, but all I am saying is that this will not be the norm. Against a Spurs side with a different attitude, the game would have been different...
You sad moaner!!! Spurs was two goal down and we were attacking non stop, their sloppy defending leading to Rooney's was understandable. You take away our efforts all you want, but don't come on here throwing cold water. We did not sit back even we were 2-0 up and every player is full of confidence.

And you compare QPR to Spurs.

You're so sad! Your glass must be always half empty.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Blind's key pass that put Carrick in tons of space to play that great through ball to Fellaini...

Blind's pass was the crucial one in that move transpiring.

I have been driving around on my "we can come 2nd" bandwagon for a few weeks now. Anybody want to jump on yet? :p

Rumour is Blackett on for Herrera and Blind into midfield and Januzaj on for Mata.

    Trollololol

Considering it was Blind's very very intuitive pass that put Carrick in yards of space to through ball to Fellaini, that's a little unfair...

Maybe your right. Nothing against Blind, I don't mind him as a player I just don't think he is anywhere near as good as Carrick at DM. Play him at LB by all means.

You can bet Tottenham will completely man mark our midfield next half. If we can keep the off-the-ball movement going then, they will be dragged out of position even more and hopefully see more of the same.

    Why waste our time?

Wilson and Pereira are the smart choices to get some gametime to keep them happy

Yes please. And Wilson roaming around their backline, while they're trying to get back in the game, could get us another. Or at least give them second thoughts about pushing up too much.

Let's keep this tempo up, don't concede and just put Spurs to the fecking sword. We want 3 more!

I can't believe some people are moaning. Ive been hugely critical of Utd this season and even I am over the moon happy with that display.

Once we make it 5-0 bring Falcao on. Hopefully he can get a brace at the end to boost his confidence.

Might get lambasted for this, but I still don't have 100% confidence that we'll win.

95% sure, but this team has played so poorly at times that I'm still a little bit concerned.
