He's best as defensive midfielder. Guess the reason he was picked ahead of other U23s lads is because we don't have a similar type of player in the 1st team atm.I guess McTominay is in there to play the Fellaini role if we need it. He's the same height, so if Mourinho feels we need a big physical presence to help with high balls McTominay can be subbed on.

Apparantly two years ago he was only 5'6". That's an incredible growth spurt to reach 6'4".

Why? You want to go have a peak?I would start with Darmian -Shaw as fullbacks and Blind-Alex as CBs. Bailly really needs a rest after starting so many matches in last 28 days.
Carrick- Rooney as CMs , lingard - Mikhi - Young behind Martial should complete our starting line up keeping an eye on Thursday's away leg. Rashford , Herrera need a break and can come from the bench if required.

We will thump em 1-0 while making it extremely difficult and taxing on ourselves.
Fighting for survival though, which is a fairly realistic goal. Looks between them and Hull - who seem to have the slightly better manager and squad, but after today Swansea seem to have the easier fixtures.We have to look at goal difference, I want all out attack. Honestly we should be aiming for 4 goals
Swansea are good at home under Clement but i don't think he has picked up an away point yet
