I agree, A sub appearance then fine, but ousting Mata every week just because we "have to use 2 strikers and now RVP is injured" is criminal. Clearly Mata has A) had a better season so far to Falcao and played ok and B) is actually our player so should be getting preference over Loaned players, especially when see A)

Thinking about it, I'd prefer Fellaini in midfield with Rooney the striker. What is the point in playing Falcao? Surely we won't be signing him.

With the line up we have, the quality on the bench, expecting a goal difference of +3.
Piss easy game in my opinion, it would take a really bad side to not entertain the home crowd and beat this lot comfortably.

Looking at the bench and the line up, I havent been more confidence all season, look at the opposition. Easy Peasy...dont mess it up now Louis

Seeing Falcao start so many games is giving me a bad feeling that (despite van Gaal and Mendes saying otherwise) that he will be a United player next season regardless of how bad he is this year.

Genuinely doesn't matter what the formation is at this point.

Nothing has worked consistently whether it's been 3-5-2, 4-4-2, 4-1-4-1 or 4-5-Fellaini. Just need to hope for something to click enough to stimulate a semi-decent performance, regardless of where the players start on the pitch.

Yes I'm aware I just said 'stimulate a semi'.

Yeah I forgot about those. Though injuries during the season have dropped him down the pecking order so much so that he is behind a 19 year old that has only played a handful of professional games. I very much doubt he will be at the club at the start of next season. Hopefully he can land a good club that is willing to let him get over his injuries ( not saying united didn't).

If he plays good up top in a 433 - which I guess will be the formation next season, Van Gaal could strongly consider. He's better up top on his own, and today is the first time he'll get to do so.

I'm hoping he's gone with a flexible line up so we can switch formations when it suits. Eg. 433 whilst we're looking to take the lead and then 352 once we've (hopefully) got a comfortable lead to protect.

Hmm, not enough defenders, play a formation that uses 5 of them. Rooney is my captain and best forward, put him in the midfield, that Di Maria lad cost me shitloads, erm, where do I put him? Oh, Rooney isn't up front anymore, stick him there.
