    This system does not work. Why not just try a simple 4-4-2 a few games instead and go for it? Problem with that would still be that our wingers are not good enoigh. I would leave out Mata and just try Memphis again on the wing.
     
    No disrespect to Woodward but I think he's a fecking arsehole.
     
    Absolute bollocks, Fellaini starting again and only because of his height, fits the profile BS, yes we lost against the saints but that was not because we took Fellaini off and lost height because of it, it was LVG shite choice of sub and poor marking. For that McMare error we fans are being punished having to watch Fellaini every game. Just feck off LVG and leave UTD, fecking old ball bag. Why the feck is Lingard still in the squad, he's useless how long do we have to keep enduring this bollock, why is there because we can switch to 352 from 433 if we have to, I hate UTD right now and can stand it no more. #LVGFECKOFF
     
    Benching Schneiderlin and starting Fellaini in CM is just infuriating idiocy. This isn't Pulisball Stoke, and even if it was, he gives away so many fouls in CM, it nullifies whatever advantage he has over other CM's in the squad defending them.

    On the plus side; I had a rather lovely steak for dinner.
    On the negative side; this starting lineup.
    Stoke are the bus parking side.
     
    That Stoke team looks pretty rubbish, in fairness. Arnautovic is the only decent player of that lot in attack. Midfield pair is awful, as well. Wollscheid is a monster but he's got a left back for a partner (I know, I know...). We've got to watch the flanks though. Pieters is not a bad player and Lingard would have to help out there. I'm more worried about the other wing though. Two very physical players against CBJ. He's got to get help from somewhere and it's not going to be Martial.

    I think we'll win by a goal, most likely in the second half.

    I don't think simple logic applies to anything in LVG's mind. For feck's sake last year he played Rooney in midfield and even RVP once. He is just trying to build his ego by showing everyone how he can pull off crazy decisions.

    WOW hate is a strong word, dont like the way we are playing , but could never hate United.
     
    A Michael Carrick coming back from injury to partner Fellaini, here comes speed. Van Gaal is one boring bstard Schneiderlin, Herrera, Pereira, Memphis on the bench. Where is the risk and intent. He must be seeing some training sessions with Fellaini in midfield, he is rubbish there. The summer feels a long time away to wait to give LVG the boot. God I hate Woodward.
     
    Give Memphis a chance....he started every game early on and could have been rested or used more visely. Now he can't get a look in due to a very ordinary Lingard. Januzaj or Memphis should be getting those minutes, they actually could pose a threat, something I don't associate with Lingard. Lingard coasts through games, but then again that's probably how van Gaal likes it.
     
    Starting to think maybe the Board doesn't pay attention to the games and style of play and results, they just look at the Financial Statements

    at some point we have to stop blaming Gaal and starting pointing the finger at the arseholes who sit idly by and watch the house burning down

    Well obviously. But in a team who's philosophy is supposedly based on passing and possession, Fellaini has no business being in it.

    Therein lies the hypocrisy of LVG.

    Agreed. I was just pointing out the reason. United should be playing to their own talents rather that trying to combat the opposition's. We rarely played O'Shea ahead of Evra under Fergie, for example.
     
    It's Giggsy's job to profile the opposition and point out key areas they could beat us. Wouldn't be surprised if he recommended us matching them physically. Darmian over Varela, Carrick and Fellaini over Herrera and Schneiderlin...

    That midfield would actually be not bad if it was the oppositions team, ffs were UTD we should be putting out a better midfield than that. We look at height rather than dynamics, I can't wait for him to get sacked
