Probably that it is playing out in the way he predicted. I’ve previously laughed this off simply not thinking the bottom three could pick up enough points but the more I see of this team the more it’s clear they are comfortably one of the worse sides in the league. Only raising their game for city Liverpool and Arsenal. All the other games the performance levels have been worse than what I’ve seen from Soton, ipswich and wolves week in week out.what a come down from the last two games. 15th place and 7 points off the relegation zone by January is not good enough. AlarmingYoro beaten 3 or 4 times by Sulemana, who also went past de Ligt once and put his shot wide. Lisandro was beaten by Dibling on the other side once as well. Way too many shots on target for Southampton. They didnt have a finish in open play. Then the same rubbish defending from a corner and its in our own goal.

We are so defensive but it appears like we need to be as even with a back 5 Southampton are getting in on goal, it's not like they've had to play that well to do it either!
Pressure does strange things to people. The last two games you saw a team without the expectation of winning, you’re seeing that again tonight but it’s not us.Garnacho, Mainoo, Højlund, Licha, Mazraoui and at times Yoro been so fecking bad.Huge amount of space in behind Southampton, but most of the time Hojlund is only interested in wrestling with the defender.
Garnacho doesn't work as one of the 10s either, tries to be too wide and leaves Hojlund isolated, and he's passed poorly when he's had options.
