    Is the ref a Liverpool fan? Serious question. He’s either pissed off they lost again and trying to even things up or this is the worst refereeing performance in PL history
     
    There was 3 tackles worse in the Chelsea game yesterday, zero reds. Mariner reffed that game. Guy needs to be sacked or never allowed to be involved in our games again
     
    Where are you guys getting four match ban from? The VAR check was for serious foul play, straight red is a one match ban, three is for violent conduct.

    So he’ll miss two games, one match for straight red, one for second red.

    I disagree. This sort of attitude is what weakness football over time and makes the game far worse. Why not instead of accepting these kind of decisions, clubs actually kick off and make a stand? That’s not a red card and challenges like that should be bloody encouraged not shunned. Feel like I say this every week but football has become bloody pathetic and VAR has done what I always said and made it even worse!

    Not a red at all. That was not a deliberate over the ball challenge. Can we appeal this?

    Difficult to see us winning the league in a few years even if we do assemble a team to do it. We just get fecked over by the refs.

    The ref has got everything spot on so far. I don't understand the moaning at all. We have Casemiro to blame for the position we find ourselves in.

    Appeal is pointless is the FA they don't do UTD any favours even if there wrong , it goes back years and years all way to the 50s . Looked at games he will miss, biggest is Newcastle away rest all home. Trouble is it's his 2nd red so he gets 4 games. Mitigation they won't here of it.

    Casemiro's was a red. Doesn't matter how you want to slice it. If you challenge for the ball and there's a follow through (even if you make contact) it is a foul. In Case's case he make contact with the player's shin. That would get checked all day and deemed a foul. Not intentional, yes. Unfortunately, absolutely yes, but red card, yes as well.

    I didn't see a replay of Bruno's but that might be debatable and should have been VAR'd at least for perspective.

    Also doesn't look like most on here know the handball rule. It effectively states that players are allowed to support their body weight in the event of a fall, and hand hitting the ball as a result of that is not considered a handball. It is that simple. Again no grand conspiracy against us on that call.
