You mean the 1 game every like every 6 weeks or something. Lad needs to be given a chance and a run of games to get his rhythm McT has more shit games than good and still plays. Rashford was diabolical last game and his reward to start again
No, I'd have VDB instead of McTominay, like we did in the reverse fixture and VDB did very well.
He's barely been given chances in between. He's not a completely different player to then - the guys not been given a proper chance since. It's only 3 months ago....So lets ignore how he's been playing more recently.
Nah he needs a rest alsoPogba having a rest, hes played alot recently, good side otherwise but would of.liked to see VDB start this.
He definitely doesn't, he's actually quite careless in his passing too. I hope he does well today but he hasn't been all that since Leeds. His performances are just average from what I've seen, which isn't bad by any means. But it's odd when you're going to need to play out from midfield and have two holders in the middle.Mctom is obviously more reliable right now (to Ole anyway) so it's not surprising he gets the nod tonight. He handles the press relatively well too, which is a plus against Southampton.
To all those moaning about Pogba, he had a few good games in a row against Burnley and Liverpool, he was pretty poor against Sheffield Utd and Arsenal. Dropping him might give him the kick he needs. I think dropping Martial was a must and I fear Rashford isn’t in form. Maybe tonight is the night we see Rashford and Greenwood come into the form we need to kick on.
Please don’t concede a ward-prowse FK
Well he did get a a full 8 mins against sheff u.Nah he needs a rest also
Eh? No, just out of form.So.. Martial being frozen out then?

Negative team. We don't need 2 defensive mids.
When are people going to realise that McT is NOT a defensive midfielder! Think what you like about him but he ain’t a DM. I actually think he’s far more effective when he has licence to get forward (as he did against Leeds)Does our 200mil defence real need two dmc for protection against Saints at home? Donny instead of Pogba was obvious choice for tonight. Not McT

Needing a rest, I suppose.
True, hadn't looked at our next game. Can't really argue with that. Just think McFred isn't the midfield you want when Bruno's likely going to be pressed like hell.Probably because he’s played without a break and we also have Everton coming up.
We’re dammed if we do rotate and dammed If we don’t

You have a reverse fixture example from this season of where he proved his worth and you want to ignore it for arbitrary reasons.
Can we please make a positive start to the game.
That’s not true - he’s been average. Also, not easy to do better than that when you clearly do not have the trust of the coach and start 1 game in 10. No rhythm, no confidence. Honestly, obviously not comparing them, but put Messi in that situation and he’d also be average to poor.Beek has been shit.
No he doesnt. He wilts under the press and his ball retention goes to pot. He's one of oles favorites thoughMctom is obviously more reliable right now (to Ole anyway) so it's not surprising he gets the nod tonight. He handles the press relatively well too, which is a plus against Southampton.
Don't give him a challenge, he may just rise to it.I've complained so much about Rashford recent performances that he can't really fail to impress today
