Hoping this is the game where our forwards get some goals and some confidence and arrogance in their play. Needs to happen soon if we are to challenge or even stay 2nd.
Three keepers in the squad do we always do that and I've just not been paying attention?
I think is the norm mate. In case one keeper is injured during the warm ups and the third goalkeeper can take over the bench
A new signing, straight from Liverpool, who's been crap so far? Come on now, how long have you been following United? He'd have been nailed on to score a hat-trick.He's been crap tbf so wouldn't have worried too much.

Mata over Pogba? Interesting.
Bonkers
Yeah, what’s up with that? It’s bizzareOh look, it's the only team that doesn't start their mid-week games at the top of the hour.
Pogba needs a rest badly. He's played in 11 of our last 12 games in all competitions and played for 90mins in 10 of those.
It's not Mata for Pogba.
Mctominay for Pogba
Mata for Martial
I hope Mata starts tonight and think he could bring something new to the team to help us back to winning ways. Bruno always links well with him and Cavani would benefit also.
Can't understand why he's getting overlooked so much when all our other attackers are really out of sorts. He's been pretty decent when used this season and will be fresh most importantly.
I suspect it's due to there being 6 o clock games before hand. They need to get their wanky match build up and the opinions of long since retired players desperately clinging on to relevance.Yeah, what’s up with that? It’s bizzare
There must have been a falling out. He's being totally frozen out.Mata isn't even in the squad according to MEN.
When was the last time we won a league game 2-0? Surely we're due a straight forward 2-0 at some point?
There must have been a falling out. He's being totally frozen out.
Tony & Marcus need to look at that bench and see Diallo, maybe then it will make both of them think we better lift our performances or he will take our place. Like I said yesterday I am not saying he should be played but just to provide a kick up the arse that's all.

It’ll be like the Jones town massacre in here.I worry that we're talking this lad up too much without even seeing him play in a competitive game.
God forbid the lad has a poor performance on his first-team debut.
Interesting. Lindeof hasn’t been a bench player for any of Baillys starts, I reckon. He’s been recovering elsewhere. Does that mean Lindelof starts?Confirmed squad members
De Gea, Henderson, Grant, Wan-Bissaka, Williams, Lindelof, Maguire, Bailly, Telles, Shaw, Matic, Fred, McTominay, Van de Beek, Pogba, Fernandes, James, Rashford, Greenwood, Martial, Cavani

He's wanted out for a while I think, his dad shopped around that whole summer whilst our deal was on the table. Wouldn't be surprised if he's essentially entered Rojo territory (pre transfer) now with 6months left where he might as well be on holiday. There must have been a falling out. He's being totally frozen out.
Can we go with a VDB - Fred midfield?
There must have been a falling out. He's being totally frozen out.
Hardly. He’s been pretty shit since his move to Liverpool last year.
Even with their injuries? Thus far VDB hasn't shown anything in the PL to suggest I'd trust him in a midfield two with Fred. Depending on the level of opposition maybe, but certainly not against Southampton.
Yeah it'll be a skeleton team. It's a shame in a way because I think playing a fully fit So'ton would be a great way to judge us from the early season toil we made of this game but I expect tonight will be comfortable if a bit boring as can imagine them sitting in without half their team available.Be interesting to see Saints lineup. They have loads of injuries and no too deep a squad anyway.
Think they'll be reliant on Ward Prowse's dead ball Expertise to give them a chance
3-1 United my guess.
Even with their injuries?
Ralph was on and said they had a real problem. JWP had to step in to RB last time.Just how bad are their injuries? I'm not really aware of who they're missing to be fair.
