    Last week everyone were on his back for not rotating the side and getting Rashford injured. Now he takes the opportunity to rotate at 2-0 up (remember, Martial's still being eased in) and now everyone is on his back for doing the exact thing they were mad at him for not doing last week.

    Can't win.
     
    I have to say its one of the most unprofessional games of football at the highest level I have seen. We totally stopped playing after 25 min, and to not be able to pass for 65 min of a game at this level just defies belief.

    The performance had already worsened dramatically. By the end of the game Sevilla had more shots on goal than we had, which is ridiculous when you consider how dominant we were in the 1st half, especially before the stamp on Casemiro.

    You don't understand common sense do you? You moan about many games coming up. How about leaving your top players killing off the game so you the 2nd leg you can rest

    Instead, it's backfired and we can't rest in the second leg.
     
    You can give it bad luck all you want. Its our own fault as we should have buried them by half time.
    Dont know what ETH sees in some of those players. Maguire is just a calamity in a Utd shirt
     
    What an horrific game. Two injuries, a suspension and a comeback. United never looked great after a scintillating first 25. Poor decision to take off our main attacking threat when Sevilla we're growing into the game. It should have been staggered at least.

    Just so frustrating. Hopefully Licha isn't too badly injured.

    Sancho is still lacking in confidence. You can it when he has a great chance but hesitates, and misses the moment.
     
    Newly promoted Burnley will be looking to strengthen their side, they can have half of this team and take Weghorst back from loan.

    Not always, but it's true it's the nastiest injury a fooball player can have and a majorty of players never fully recover.
     
    Saw a comment about Licha maybe having done a metatarsal, it did look at first more like he was holding his foot? Obviously still feeks our season but would be "preferable" to an Achilles

    Shows the huge drop in quality between the first team and the back ups. Really hope the Saudi guy buys us. It fecked Liverpool last season for this season challenging on all fronts and we are now limping over the line. You need to have about 3 first team squads like City, at the very least 2.

    Pains me to say it as I loved seeing us win the Carabao or any trophy but with the number of injuries we are getting I'd consider the FA cup of least importance. Top 4, or a Europa win which guarantees CL is more important as it feels like we are getting to a point of having to choose between competitions.

    Easy to criticise the manager in those circumstances but we've had a gruelling schedule since the World Cup and 4 games in 11 days...he has to roll the dice at times.

    We need to start again with Shaw's cover. Malacia has shown me absolutely nothing as yet to prove he can play at the required level.
     
    Malacia sloppy . Hope Shaws back next week.. we can still finish this tie off next week. 2 own goals and cup football is a lottery at times..

    That Sevilla side are realy bad and we've left them off the hook. The 2nd goal is going wide. Just hits him and in.. sloppy sloppy sloppy and this is what you get..
     
    No Bruno, Rashford, Licha, Varane for the next game. Can we appeal that yellow card to get Burno back? Can't see us winning without those players.

    I think the word is talent, not confidence. I think you could also add application, judging by his leisurely ambling back when he has lost the ball, again.

    I think they have got a few players missing too so it is still a tight match. We don`t do anything the easy way though, need to improve our game management when we are ahead in these situations. Another nervy night in Europe next week.

    If anything was comical, it was Malacia. He was a one-man wrecking ball the whole game. Literally anyone else in the left-back position, and I think we'd be going to Sevilla with a two goal cushion.
     
    Grim, terrible luck woth the goals and injuries however we were absolute shite after scoring the goals. Too often we are unable to play competently for a whole game. Dare i say it, this team is stoll quite a lot like when we were good under ole.

    It was also another oncredibly frustrating game from sancho, always seems to be one step forward two back from him. Antony played well at times but still rarely offers much in the way of end product

    Disagree, defensively they were shite but going forward they were half decent. They could have scored just before half time. And yeah, you get lucky if you're in the other team's box a lot, which they were in the last 20 mins. We let our foot off the gas the entire second half, brought on the second string and here we are.
     
    This second half is brutal bad luck for us. Varane and Martinez injuries. Antony hit the post. Then two own goals.

    The stats are ridiculous. 12 shots for us (5 on target) - 13 for them (3 on target). We were in control and threw it away.

    Gruelling schedule my arse - we have a huge squad, but it seems at times that our manager has no idea how to manage it.
