    Capitulated. Without Martinez the defence is totally opening up. And unnecessary substitutions by the manager.

    This is ridiculous. Varane went down before the end of the first half.

    If we kept him on and he got hurt even more , we end up saying 'ridiculous we didn't sub him off at 2_0'
     
    Don’t know what’s more annoying, losing the two goal lead or Martinez for the rest of the season if it is indeed an Achilles injury.
     
    Nobody to blame but ourselves. Its the same issues over and over and over again.
     
    ETH's subs had been one of his biggest strengths for most of the season. Don't know what happened but I swear in the last month he's constantly hurt our performances with the substitutions. I'm really annoyed with that performance today.

    I doubt he told them to ease up. The players are the ones who took their foot off the gas. The changes he made seemed to make sense. Not his fault Martinez gets injured out of nowhere.
     
    Oh well that’s it then, can’t wait for this season to end and seeing a proper clear out over the summer. Disgraceful second half performance most of this bunch should be ashamed of themselves.

    The hell are you on about? We could've scored 4 or 5. What do you want to ETH to do come on and kick it in himself? The players arent ruthless enough but a lot of them havent been for years.
     
    Just not fecking able to control a game of football. Finishing the game with an attacking trio that's barely good enough to play in the championship. When you see Weghorst is about to come on as a sub it almost feel worse than seeing him starting games.

    I still think we'll do them next week but it doesn't mean that we aren't cursed, though.
     
    We conceded two flukes but our performance since went 2-0 up against such an ordinary team has been pretty woeful.

    This is a slap in the face moment. And there rubbish I mean rubbish.. Reading were better than this lot. 2 huge slices of luck and its game on.. ffs
     
    Well that’s us out then. We got the chuckle brothers back for the next leg, no Bruno, no Rashford. Potentially that dreaded CB partnership for a lot of the season going forward also.

    Really fuming with tonight but the team were just getting worse by the minute especially with a ridiculous display by Malacia.

    He had a knock. And Martial is made of glass. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. If he keeps them both on and they get injured, everyone would be saying why didn’t he bring them off to protect them.

    He got shit for playing the same first XI too often, but this is why. The backups aren’t good enough. This is all just a result of playing a game every three days until the squad is run in to the ground and broken.

    Largely speaking we dominated the game and then everything that could go wrong went wrong. They scored from an individual error and a fluke deflection. What are you on bout it being on ETH? Seriously FFS, people shouldn't post when they're hysterical immediately after a game.
