Thats precisely why Mourinho is now cleaning house even in Jan. Alot of these players arent close to being good enough.We've completely controlled the game, and played some nice football.. yeah we could have scored 6, but who cares about running up the score in a cup game where it'll make zero difference in the grand scheme of things?What is going on? I think this is the worst team we have faced this year. They have no ambition and basically capitulated within a few minutes.The Romero tackle was no different to what Young did.I guess the theory is that Carrick needs to keep playing to maintain the sharpness. Its a good performance in the sense we are dominating the game. But its terrible in the sense that we should have killed this game off in the first half.

Then I'll politely agree to disagree with you. In my opinion, Rashford had played badly today.
(If you can be bothered, you'll read that I'm a big fan of Rashford and raved at his performance vs West Ham which I was lucky to observe in the London Stadium).I had Tony Martial to score anytime and 3-0 to United and Mata to score anytime and 4-0 to United before the game so hopefully we can get one or two more. We've had enough chances.
He gets let off 'because he won the ball' in the minds of some, but I thought that was a shocking challenge as well. Would like to see a replay of that because I think he got away with one there.Bloody drama queens in here.
