Well it is 4 cms instead of 2 wingers so it's not like we're going all the way back. This was the formation I felt best suited us anyway so it's encouraging to see Van Gaal play it today.
Thankfully we have Blind defending them, Herrera with abit of quality and bite in there. Not Fletcher and Cleverley.

My hatred for is started way before any bad results. Even during the preseason and all the wins, I felt the same.Have we only named 6 subs?Finally looks like a balanced formation. Hoping we get going in this game. Cannot afford another blimp considering rivals like Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and City have been dropping points. Buzzing!
It's better to have out as good a CB pairing as possible though.
I think there has been a lack of pace in the team overall. Di Maria helps resolve that problem.
The issue for Mata, RVP and Rooney has been the lack of creativity and stability in the rest of the team. To scapegoat those 3 is a little harsh.

He is our vice captain, I hope so.Why are people happy about getting 3 subs when it means f all if they're on the bench and not subbed on.This is exciting. Feels like we're restarting our season, hopefully this time for real.
I feel a lot better seeing us with 4 at the back. It's what we're comfortable with and we know where to expect our full backs at all times. We've got some very talented players in our squad today and surely they've got to win this. I'm hoping to see some speed, creativity and goals today.
