LVG should start Wilson instead of Falcao.

In response to the "losing our identity" stuff and sale of Welbeck. Makes sense, bring Falcao on in the second half and introduce him slowly, and RVP needs rest.

Di Maria feeding Wilson is just as exciting as feeding Falcao imo.

Exactly! Why keep 3-5-2 just to play another defender which would mean Mata would probably be left out.

Van Gaal needs his head checking if he plays Valencia>Rafael and Fletcher>Herrera/Blind. I'd be happy if those two never played for us again - they should be got rid in the next phase of operation deadwood clear out.

B) We'll win 7-0, Falcao getting a hattrick leading the press and rivals fans alike to be like "meh, it was only QPR and you have a squad worth 12 billion pound".

Not sure whether to expect any miracles today. It will probably take a while to get going properly and logic should dictate that it'll be more of the same considering the players have been away for two weeks and there's a whole raft of new players coming in.

I think it'll be a back 3 of Blackett, Evans and Rojo - no other options really, and Shaw won't start I think since he's just coming back from injury, maybe just a few minutes towards the end.
Blind might end up playing left wingback, with Valencia on the other side.

Midfield might be fletch, Di maria and Mata again, not sure if he will start Herrera.

I think we'll go a goal down, struggle like feck, equalise and then Rio will net an own goal.

I'm not sure if I expect us to win this with the new players to gel and people returning from injuries but I'm excited about a United game after ages. ADM and Falcao to look forward to. Interesting to see if Falcao is an adequate replacement for Pele.
