think he’s having to prioritise champions league qualification. i’d expect to see more experimentation in the other two cups.

I think it's more because of the Sociedad result. We can't afford to go out of the Europa and room for slip up was utilised in the first game itself.

So now, it's play your best team till qualification is done.

Starting to think Sancho is done at United, he's been left out a couple of times after playing poorly and not even been subbed on.

Pity, he was showing some better form for a bit.

Maybe he'll get a chance to play tonight, if we manage to wrap up the tie.
Ten Hag will hope to play 63 games this season. It could even be more than that. Chill, it is a long season.

Dalot’s not getting a rest at all this season. What even happened to Wan Bissaka?

Ronny starting, can he play on Sunday afternoon as well? I hoping he can bag a goal in first half and sub him . Martial is fit on Sunday perhaps he starts. Sancho not in , Malacia In has to play well. Come on lads

Sancho will learn to make more efforts and not being a passenger or won’t make it here.
I don’t think Sancho is done but in a Ten Hag team there is no place for a passenger. It’s up to him.

I do wonder what the plan is if Dalot goes down. Just sticking one of Shaw/Malacia at RB? Lindelöf? :nervous:

Very worrying signs that he can't even make a Thursday night Europa fixture at home to an opponent like Omonia. He's just been too passive for a United winger and can hardly think of many moments at all where he got the better of his opponent. Even Depay had the odd game where he'd tear some lower league full back apart.

Bloody phishing Man Utd social media mods keeping the team sheet in a link that takes you to the United Direct website.
Don't you just hate it when you're looking for lineups and the next thing you've bought 3 new premium home kits for the fam. So this was that innovative social media strategy the new brass was talking about.

Would have thought McTominay was a cert but i'm interested to see our Brazilian midfield duo.

At least Eriksen is getting a rest.

He seems to more like chopping and changing one or two players around to try find his best team rather than completely switching things around. Ultimately we're still a team finding our footing and best XI so can't blame him for being conservative.
This! I'm not certain he is our most important player. But, with the current squad make-up he seems the most difficult to replace. I'm glad he's getting a bit of a break.

Surely McTominay would’ve been a good fit as he’s suspended for the league. Seems a very strong team for what should be the easiest game of the 6.

he's brought in Malacia and Fred. He's rested Eriksen who needed one. Casemiro needs game time to get his match fitness up. Varane didn't start, keep him for Sunday. Possibly the only other changes I've made, would be rest De Gea, but no big deal there. I would started Sancho and played Rashford centrally and dropped Ronaldo
Dubravka is probably starting to question his choice

He doesn't rotate his team much, if he has a winning team he doesn't really mess with it.

Which may be fine in Holland, but I doubt the sense of that approach in England, especially in a WC year.

Makes for a more watchable game tonight with hopefully plenty of goals against very weak opponents.

Is AWB injured or is he "injured" ?

This guy is injured from last season, what the hell is his injury ?

    Same for Donny

They need to do a Martial and post on their socials that they're actually fit and raring to go. It does sound a bit suspect though.

I agree, he's going to need to learn to rotate. Personally I would love to see some youngsters get a game, but again, we need to win this.

We lost the opening game so every one now is a must win game.

    It’s really quite obvious really
I remember it was a complaint from Ajax fans tbf. So it's not an exception because they're all must wins.

This is the "easiest" game we will play all season. Home against a team from Cyprus. The fact that Heaton/Dubravka, Elanga, or even Sancho who is just off form aren't getting in here just means he doesn't like to rotate in the slightest IMO. Not too worried, he'll learn but it's definitely something he'll have to learn to trust to do

Has McClaren had a transplant? His hair island isn’t as prominent as it used to be

Rumour on twitter that our no 11 and *************** have followed each others on instagram again!

Stop complicating things, score first, then hit them on the counter.

Not every game have to be 'sweezy bomtimes'. Need to learn how to control things before way tougher set of fixtures.

Glad to see Eriksen rested and we also have Fred Casemiro to combine an easier game.

If we get 3-4 goals up I'm sure he can use a lot of subs. If we go a goal or two down we'll need a strong team to recover in the second half after a rollocking from ETH.

It’s probably far too strong. No idea why McTominay wouldn’t play for example, but five subs mean we can get players rested pretty quickly if we score a few.

Just checked, she’s definitely following MG. Did she unfollow in the first place?

Has anybody had a look at the 3rd place teams United could face if we finish 2nd in the group? If CL was finished today United would up playing one of :

Ajax, Barca , sporting , athletico Madrid , ac Milan , shaktar , Sevilla and juventus!

Just shows the importance of winning the group!

Because getting more minutes into Casemiro will do him more good than any rest for now, I'd have thought.

put out a strong lineup and glad to see that he's giving these guys more chances to understand each other and what the gaffer wants.....Casemiro and Fred have been great for Brazil so let's hope they have the same impact for United

An important point. None of these clubs are unbeatable, but all would require a full strength side to beat.
