Saved by the bell. Getting dunked on by Norwich

Norwich have only 2 or 3 players committing to any attack and yet we are constantly outnumbered whenever they get near our box.

Dalot is getting dribbled past every time they attack from his side. Shocking performance

Norwich have got into incredible areas all game. Dalot and Telles are both incredibly average and we have space everywhere in midfield. If they weren’t Norwich they’d have created far more than what they have. Zero control from us off the ball as usual.

Maguire booted that ball to no one and Norwich gain possession and score. He's an utter clown that needs to be got rid of
if anybody is to blame its dalot for having one of the worst 50/50 challenges i’ve ever seen. a pathetic attempt

    This is us, isn't it?

Kids on the bench. We're 2-0 up vs. bottom of the league, playing reasonable well going forward.

    2-1 just before H/T.

There goes any debuts and cameos today.

Average is a kind word for Tellas.

Maguire giving the ball back and getting out of position, Dalot getting skinned, Telles having to cover for the shitness of Maguire get drags out of position and our entire midfield jogging back lazily and not covering for Telles to leave the space free to attack. Horrible defending all around. :wenger:

That goal is all on Pogba. If he picks up the run of Pukki which he should they don't score there

It's on Dalot for not knowing to stand side-on when defending against an oppostion winger, then Telles for being laughably out of positon, leaving the score competely unmarked.

Our play is decent but the defending is just amateur level. Has been like that all season. So frustrating.

The Everton game could so easily have gone the same way as this game, if we'd got the early goal we should have.

And this game could so easily have gone the way of the Everton game.

Now they scored, we seem so mentally fragile that everything could buckle in the 2nd half.

Hoping for a Ronaldo hatrick

there was no point for Maguire to appear at that RB position as we conceded the goal. Amatuer defending

    Wow, that's quite a take.

When Norwich attacks us in our box, there seems to be a lack of urgency to close them down.

Everything was bad about that goal the very moment Ronaldo didn't press their CB. Got worse from there.

Our flair players used to do that to opposition defenders. Sad to see the roles reversed these days

How does Fernandinho get away with so many fouls. Clear yellow card.

    Edit: Wrong thread

Wonder who will pick Pukki up when they go down, could be a decent back up for a better team in the PL.

Dalot failed but he could risk that, all his teammates were close and covering other players. Problem is Pogba didn't fully track back and Elanga didn't follow his player. Then Telles was doing the right thing and marking the man in the center but there was yet another player no one in the team covered, Telles couldn't do more.

It was overall shit defending, like almost every goal we concede. Trying to blame goals on an individual is pointless with this group of players.

Maguire starting for us is one of the most frustrating things in my time watching United. It is nothing personal and I do have a degree of sympathy for the position he is in but he is just not very good. Everything about him screams mid table defender.

Put Lindelof in Man City's team and he will absolutely do a decent job.

Put Maguire in a City team and he would stand out like a lump of shit in a chocolate cake.

    Porto fan detected

Dalot is not a footballer. Get him the feck out of this club asap. I'd rather watch AWB. I'd rather we bring Darmian back.
