Yeah I agree we need to start better defensively but if it’s end to end, it’s what we want rather than a typical Newcastle United team that deploys a stop-start shithousery tactic that Ten Hag himself called out. It plays into their hand and it’s what they are hoping for rather than an open game.
We are better than Newcastle both as a team and with individual game winners. And a better bench & in better form too. Plus we have more experienced players that have played in finals and know how to handle themselves on these occasions. This is new territory for these Newcastle players and manger which we don’t know if they will rise to the occasion or shit themselves on the big stage in literary their clubs biggest game in nearly 2 decades.

Its why I wouldnt play AWB. Stick Burn or another beanpole on the back post on a corner or FK and, knowing AWB with back posts, its probably a goal

That’s what I thought in the OT game. I was expecting Antony to do him one on one. But Burns was untroubled all game. In fact I’ve been surprised how little Burn has been isolated this season. He’s done v well as a massive left back.
Watch out for Hatchettman, he is on the war path.
