Will Erik instruct our players to shoot on sight with Newcastle goalkeeper issue?
thanks... that's a bit worrying. Miss the days when cup finals were on the "protected list" - even if you did have to up with some clown ITV commentator
To keep control of the game, it's been too chaotic lately in the middle of the pitch. It also allows Shaw to progress the ball up the pitch with adequate cover.5 at the back? Why the feck would we doing that nonsense
Having dropped Sky Sports Football at the start of the season to save money, I know find my local has stopped showing live sports (might have changed hands)... does anyone here ever use NOW TV and are they any good - £12 for the game seems a bit much unless the feed is good and reliable. One other pub might show it but means taking the car, plus the last time I watched there (admittedly some time ago), the staff/owner were really anti-United and it's bit pokey with nowhere to sit unless you get there early (and today of course people will be there for the Spurs game). Thoughts?
Calm. Worst case we lose the match, but the team is improving so lots to be positive about.Four hours to kick off how are we all feeling lads?
I'm surprisingly calm and simply looking forward to this cup final and hoping for the best.
Sorry but as a non native English speaker I've no idea what you mean mate.Marcus will have taken a couple of jabs to get himself ready.
Absolutely. Horrendous prospect. Lose or win in ninety minutes. Can't be doing a penalty shootout let's finish this off in the 90
Feed is good on Now. Think two pints and you’ve spent the day pass thing. Newcastle are gona park the bus. Its breaking them down that's gona be the problem, not controlling the game.To keep control of the game, it's been too chaotic lately in the middle of the pitch. It also allows Shaw to progress the ball up the pitch with adequate cover.
The Wembley pitch is massive, the more open the game is, the more it plays into their hands.
I'm lucky if I can find the right channel when I want to watch Channel 4Get a sat dish that points to 16 degrees east then watch everything on Supersport 2 Albania. Decoding is a faff but they hardly ever miss a United match and commentary is in English. It's not even illegal.
I can already see already PL games cos I kept Sky Premier League... but yes I did work out about the two-pints cost: was considering nursing one diet cokeFeed is good on Now. Think two pints and you’ve spent the day pass thing. Plus you get to see spuds v chewsea
Doubt it, we should treat him like any other keeper...if we deliberately target him it will take away from our game. Will Erik instruct our players to shoot on sight with Newcastle goalkeeper issue?
looks like that might be the answer, thanks. Now I have to decide if I'll jinx themYeah I know what you mean. I think the default is 720p.
(I normally use IPTV, but have Now as well, and pay for the boost. My IPTV is very very reliable, but I can guarantee Now_
I doubt it. Will be ‘normal’ tactics, maybe with keeping in mind getting shots in target. Will Erik instruct our players to shoot on sight with Newcastle goalkeeper issue?

Yeah, I think that's why Wan-Bissaka will play, just to neutralize their threat from the left.Have to keep an eye on Saint Maximim

This cup final neither breaks or necessarily makes our season. Our progress and season isn’t dictated by this final. It would be great to win it because it’s been a while since we’ve won anything but it’s not the end of the season if we don‘t. It’s just the League Cup at the end of all. Its the least prestigious major honour.
We’re playing a team that has done well this year and spent around £250m in the past year, in case the media try to spin this match as Newcastle being some plucky underdog.
Just enjoy being in a final. We’re not a finished article team by any means and this is not the Champions League final.
He, Rashford, will be given therapeutic injections. Usually of the painkilling variety.Sorry but as a non native English speaker I've no idea what you mean mate.
no Martinez?

No way should Martinez miss this.I think he'll play Malacia because the game suits him and he prefers Shaw at CB to cover him.

I actually forgot he’s still technically a footballer and not just a meme.I actually forgot he's still technically our captain.
What are you smoking mate? You must be wumming. There’s absolutely zero chance Martinez doesn’t get selected for this game. He’s one of the best CBs in Europe right now.I think he'll play Malacia because the game suits him and he prefers Shaw at CB to cover him.
Newcastle aren't going to park the bus, have you watched them play this season?Newcastle are gona park the bus. Its breaking them down that's gona be the problem, not controlling the game.
Weird take. The more open the game is favours us massively not them
Saint-Maximim will run us ragged, like he did at OT.Why would a more open game play into Newcastle's hands? They barely score a goal a game. I can't see it being chaotic with Varane, Martinez and Casemiro
The way we were open on the counter in the 1st halves vs Leicester and Barcelona, we allow ASM the same space to run into, it's not going to end well.Disagree.
The game will play right into our hands if it’s open. They will want it to be a shithousery, stop-start one which will literally frustrate the hell out of us rather than with an open end to end game which will play right into our hands.
