With half squad in hospital back to back matches... This gets nicer and nicer.. Arsenal match is anyways a write off. Hope we dont get embarassed

Beating them is not sufficient. Annihilation must be so devastating that they should univocally quit existing as a club and dismantle that stadium of theirs and apologise for beating us so convincingly last time around. What Arrogance.

I don't want us to go through tbh

Not like we can win it, with our bare bone squad it's better if we just concentrate on the League, and probably FA cup.

Going all out on 3 fronts will be suicide, finger crossed Martial is already burnt out at this rate

Ok.. I ll call up some guys from Barca and Bayern and ask if they are free this Thursday night for some fun activity.

Tricky one. We need to score so with the onus on us, you'd hope we'd come out and show some early intent. But if they manage to nick one or God forbid two away goals, I wouldn't back us to score enough to progress.

I'm going for us to win narrowly and using our away goal to get through. 1-0 to us. I still can't see us convincingly beating any decent team.

We won't win it, but I'd rather us avoid the utter humiliation of going out to fecking Midtjylland.

First we destroyed Shrewsbury and now for a second giant killing... bring it on!

Prolonging the agony, at least we can hide between midgets gets lucky win against giant. Compared to dortmund humiliating english fallen giant

Might be good for us to be humiliated by one of the stronger teams in the EL, hopefully it will be a slap in the face which will wake the board up.

Did anyone see the clip of Midtjylland celebrating in the changing rooms? For that reason alone I hope we smash the smug faces off them.

But anyway, I hope you win 2-1.

Keep Louis at Manchester? (KLAM) if I was a rival supporter I'd be all over this. I'd cheer him on in basically any game that didn't affect my team just to keep him here! Sad thing is, he'll stay even if he loses, so you've nothing to worry about :/

I hope we batter them and then the whole United team upload a video of them doing the conga around the dressing room after the match!!!

    Too much?

FFS is the injury nightmare EVER going to end , any more injuries and we wont have 12 fit players.
I am not trying to say its again LVG's fault, but clearly something must be very wrong with the training methods if our players keep dropping like flies for a second year in a row.

Yeah, basically I said it is all LVG's fault.

Nothing wrong with celebrating a famous win.
They felt they killed a giant (though maybe their players don't realise how bad we are - if they knew they'd probably have expected it).
I'm not sure who will go through to the next round. I the tie is balanced.
We'll win or draw, but not sure if it will be enough to go through.
Lets be honest guys, against European teams, we suck. I mean, really badly. Even when were in good form.

Not complaining about them celebrating just hate seeing there smug faces.

I've gone for an optimistic 2-0 United victory but I have been tucking into the crack pipe, so my judgment may be a little clouded.

    Romero
    Varela Smalling Blind Riley
    Herrera Morgan
    Pereira Mata Memphis
    Martial

    Subs : Carrick

    Romero
    Valera - Smalling - Blind - Riley
    Carrick
    Herrera - Morgan
    Mata
    Martial - Memphis

Assuming Lingard and Borthwick Jackson are out.

An emphatic 1-0 victory to tide us over the inevitable defeats in our next few league games.

BBC reported that Valencia and Rojo were both back in training but de Gea, Smalling and Borthwick-Jackson were all missing.

No reason was given for Smalling's absence so hopefully it isn't another injury.

Although I'm sure Thursday will be too soon for them... having Rojo and Valencia back in full training is a big boost.

So glad we're getting some players back, I've actually missed Valencia :nervous:

Well following the usual cycle; we've hit a new low, then has a miraculous come-back and convincingly beat a team we should be convincingly beating to boost some confidence, so the next step is the average performance resulting in a narrow victory so it nearly appears like we've turned a corner.
