Looks like a counter-attacking team. Let's see how this goes.

It'll be interesting to see Bruno's attitude today if (when) the going gets tough as apparently it was poor during the Liverpool drubbing (I'd switched off about 3-0 sensing it wasn't going to get any better)

He's now captain so it won't be acceptable for him to whine and wave his arms around

Isn't it funny that when we win, we would be only 3 points behind City. Yet some on here act like we're in a crisis that warrants firing the manager. Once Shaw and Martinez are back we'll be winning more games.
When we lose we'll be 9 points behind and 11 behind Spurs. But yeah things will be looking up.

Wow, seeing those lineups next to each other really puts this into perspective. I don't think any manager in the world would get this group to do anything against that City team. They're light years ahead in every single area...and that feels like understating things.

Right. Bayern Munich was desperate to sign McTominay. We were lucky to keep him. We are proper fecked. Our owners need to be chased out. Bankrupt them. Not one cent. Drive these f-ing parasites out of the team.

My god that team is both awfully unbalanced and full of shite players.

Gonna be in for a long long day

Varane must be replaced asap. Totally unreliable.

The Mount situation is melting my brain, why did we spend so much on him for him to sit on the bench in big games like this.

Somebody check Ten Hag's bank account. He's been bought. That's the only explanation for that line up.

Or is he planning on bamboozling City in the second half with a load of subs?

The bench is stronger than the first XI!

fecking hell. His £80 million right winger, bench. His £50 million midfielder. Bench. Our best attacker shunted out wide. Hopefully he’s got a specific tactical plan for midfield, if it’s a regular 4231 it’s going to be a long afternoon.

We’re going to get bent over and done up the wrong’un.

Injuries are a valid excuse but the teams are so far apart it’s not even funny

That defence is awful. How unfit can Varane still be and why is our actual left back not playing? Bruno I’m sure is to be played out of position and blamed for everything as usual.

Some really crap teams have given City a really tough game this season and could have beaten them. We should still go into this game confident, scrap for everything and we might just nick a result!

McT in midfield, Bruno RW with Evans and Maguire as a CB pairing. I didn't have much hope but even less so now.

He’s picked a side that can’t even counter attack

    That line up is baffling.

Do you genuinely think Munich were desperate for him?

Yeah that team does not inspire confidence. The defence is obvious but I worry about that midfield too.

Wow, I only got 7 from the 11 picked to start.
Cannot see the reasoning behind this selection, it's not even damage limitation, it's more like "City do your worst"
