    That is one of the worst lineups I've ever seen. Course it would be against City.

    Bloodbath incoming.
     
    I'm usually not a fan of posters whinging about team selection before the game but i have to be brutally honest, my heart sank looking at that lineup :( . Yes we have injury problems but geez, what a team to face City.
     
    I was watching derby clips earlier and when Balotelli did the ‘why always me’ it was Evan’s at CB. How sad that in 2023 he’s starting against City.
     
    Varane and Reguilon on the bench like we have quality depth...
     
    Isn't it funny that when we win, we would be only 3 points behind City. Yet some on here act like we're in a crisis that warrants firing the manager. Once Shaw and Martinez are back we'll be winning more games.

    He doesn't do jack. He'll win headers and that's it. He'll jog about chasing shadows while City cruise past him and Eriksen with ease. Amrabat is going to have to do it alone. He's the only one with defensive ability in that midfield.

    Varane is a waste of space. Overrated when he plays but always injured anyway.

    Reading that line up, I'm not sure I want to watch the game. I mean, even if we fluke a win it still won't be pleasant to watch :lol:

    We're gonna get hammered. This season has me ready downbeat and it's not even November.
     
    Proper attacking side by City. This is going to get ugly.

    I dont get Bruno on the right. It never works, we’re gonna have limited time on the ball and now we have no counter attack from that side either. Baffling.
     
    We’re going to get smashed. Don’t know which is more depressing - the defence or the midfield.
     
    It's a very silly line up and makes no sense.

    Our injury problems are as scandalous as our recruitment and coaching woes. No doubt exacerbated by outdated facilities, training methods and incompetent backroom staff I would guess.

    Zero first choice defenders along with a keeper who is new to the league. Unbalanced midfield. A RW who can't run and a LW who is out of form. I try to look at the bright side when it comes to football but I just can't muster up any enthusiasm for this one. I'll be fecking ecstatic with a draw and no injuries.
