    Think it’ll be...

    DDG
    Lindelöf Maguire Shaw
    AWB McTominay Fred Williams
    Bruno
    Ighalo Martial
Looks good. Matic has been decent recently but we need more mobility against City. I would play exactly this team if all 100% fit. Hope Martial is in the mood to put a proper shift in.

Yeah, also with three at the back we don’t need a proper DM like Matic.

Oddly I feel confident that we'll get a result against them.

I think people are forgetting Harry might not be fit for this. Could be a back 3 of Lindelof, Bailly and Shaw.

He wasn't on the bench for Derby at all, usually Solskjaer starts him even in those types of games.

Probably a draw is the best we can hope for.

Good as we can be sometimes, shit as they can be sometimes, I just don't / can't see us beating them 3 out of 4 matches in a season.

Hope I'm wrong because I'd love to turn them over Big Time - you know 4-0 or 5-0 - but that ain't going to happen.

Dearie me do we need to win this. Can't rely on other teams to lose points. Unfortunately I just can't see us winning this one, even though I've predicted a high scoring 3-2 win. History says the away team wins recently.

Seem to do better at the Etihad than we do against City at Old Trafford so I’m not sure what to expect.

We definitely look better since Bruno joined that’s for sure and we’re in form, hopefully we nick it 2-1.

Yes. I’m very pleased with our form recently but City are still better than us and I don’t think home advantage will amount to much. I’d take a point now, fearing defeat but hoping for a win.

If we're playing 3 at the back then I hope it's Shaw at LWB and Bailly as part of the back 3.

Williams never looks comfortable at LWB.

Be interesting to see if he players all 4 of our main midfielders from the start. You senses against Everton that it worked well first half, but we had no fresh midfield legs for later on.

Surprised we’re 4/1 to win at most bookies. Thought we’d be fancied more than that.

really hope we don't start with Martial tomorrow, id rather we play greenwood. Apart from that, the team picks itself. Hope a couple of the city players don't make it due to injuries so we have a bit of hope

All 3 games against City were the same. They were playing, we were sitting back and waiting on counter, they were missing half chances and we scored nearly our every chance.

I doubt that we can do it again. Yes, i am fully pessimistic about this game

United's confirmed provisional squad vs Man City:

Goalkeepers: David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Nathan Bishop.

Defenders: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Axel Tuanzebe, Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, Brandon Williams.

Midfielders: Nemanja Matic, Fred, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Bruno Fernandes.

Forwards: Odion Ighalo, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood.

Glad to hear that AWB has made it but potentially no Maguire is a massive blow unless it’s some sort of kidology as what we seen last week against Everton regarding Tony.

It’s not confirmed it’s just the squad that was pictured at the Lowry that’s all.

If we can leave City/Spurs with 4 points I’d consider that a very good result.

Same here. Everyone need to play at their best and City needs an off-day without KDB for us having a chance to win.

If Harry is playing we could very well get a draw though.

We beat them once in the league at Old Trafford in the last nine years and we're currently seventh in the league.

If Maguire has rolled his ankle it's too much of a risk, if he goes over on it again he'll be out for the rest of the season, so

    De Gea
    AWB Bailly Lindelof Shaw
    Lingard Matic Fred
    Fernandes
    Greenwood Martial

    McTominay 4 Lingard
    Ighalo 4 Martial
    Tuanzebe 4 AWB

    1-1
    Sterling 4'
    Ighalo 89'

Missing 3/4 of our best players will hurt. Reckon Ighalo might join Martial up front tomorrow.

Interesting stat. We haven't lost in the Premier League since Ole took over when Martial has scored.

Their main threat isn't Aguero me thinks but someone who runs like a girl. He's terrifying.

Well looks like both of us are going to be without our main centre back today,so could well come down to Bruno v De Bruyne to decide it.

We are in good form but cant see us winning this.
If we had Rashford and Pogba then i would back us to win but without them and maybe Maguire out also, think it will be too difficult.

They have a good record at OT and they should have alot of confidence after beating Madrid and winning a cup.
If De Bruyne and Aguero start this match,i think we will lose.

I am not sure Pep would start Aguero. When he does, we will just counter him, City is one of the few teams we don't really press and just play low... City won in the league cup by reinforcing the midfield. Would they do it again?

Looking at this with less expectation like last time.

Would rather have James, to pin back their FB going forward.

Still not sure who will start out of Greenwood/Ighalo,Maguire could do a Martial from last Sunday but who knows.

With Rashford I would have been more confident of getting result. Need his raw pace and ability to take on defenders to hit them on counters.
